About this role

Company Description

Heimstaden Group is a pan-European real estate investor, manager and operator. We manage approximately 155,500 homes across nine countries, representing a property value of around EUR 30 billion.

Our business is supported by close to 2,000 people across Czechia, Denmark, Finland, Germany, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Sweden and the United Kingdom.

We are looking for a Procurement Performance & Excellence Analyst to join our Group Procurement team and help build a more data-driven, high-performing and forward-looking procurement function.

Job Description

This is a build role rather than a traditional buyer role. You will strengthen how procurement is measured, steered and supported across the group by improving reporting, spend visibility, value tracking, governance and supplier-related data. The role combines analytics, process improvement and cross-functional business support in an environment where procurement is expected to contribute visibly to margin improvement and operational discipline.

Your mission

Your mission will be to build the performance management and data foundation of Group Procurement across markets. You will help turn procurement activity into clear management insight, stronger prioritization and more consistent value delivery.

What you will do

- Own and develop procurement KPIs, dashboarding and recurring performance reporting.
- Create spend analyses and improve spend visibility by category, supplier and market.
- Support savings pipeline management and realised value tracking together with finance and controlling.
- Generate analyses that help prioritise categories, projects and procurement opportunities.
- Review, simplify and update procurement processes, templates, manuals and governance material.
- Improve supplier-related data and contribute to sustainability reporting readiness in priority areas.
- Support the evaluation and practical use of tools that strengthen procurement ways of working.
- Work closely with Group Procurement, local procurement teams, business controlling, asset management and sustainability.

What success looks like in your first 12 months

- A monthly procurement performance pack is established and used as part of the management rhythm.
- Spend data is easier to access, categorize and use for procurement prioritization.
- Savings pipeline and value tracking are structured through a finance-aligned methodology.
- Key procurement processes and governance documents have been simplified and refreshed.
- Supplier-data readiness for sustainability reporting is stronger and less dependent on manual collection.

Qualifications

What we are looking for

- Preferably 2-3 years of relevant experience in procurement, procurement excellence, business analysis, business controlling, consulting or a related field.
- A university degree in business, economics, supply chain or a comparable discipline.
- Strong analytical skills and experience translating data into actions, insight and business cases.
- Advanced Excel capability and experience with Power BI or a similar reporting tool.
- Experience with KPI design, dashboards, reporting or performance management.
- A good understanding of procurement, supplier-related analysis or adjacent business processes.
- Experience improving processes, governance or ways of working in a business environment.
- Fluent English, written and spoken.

Nice to have

- Experience from the real estate sector or another asset-heavy industry.
- Experience from management consulting or a procurement-focused environment.
- Exposure to spend analytics, supplier sustainability, ESG or supplier-data reporting topics.
- SQL or similar data-handling skills.
- German and/or Scandinavian language skills.

Who you are

You are proactive, structured and comfortable creating momentum in areas that still need more structure. You enjoy working independently, but you also like engaging with stakeholders across functions and levels. You do not only produce analysis - you make it useful, visible and actionable.

Additional Information

Why join us

- You will shape a capability, not only maintain one.
- You will have high visibility and direct exposure to senior stakeholders.
- You will work across procurement, finance, sustainability and local markets.
- You will combine analysis, process improvement and implementation in one role.
- You will join a large and ambitious European residential real estate organization with strong internal development opportunities.

Practical information

- Location: Copenhagen.
- Full-time position.
- Permanent employment after probation period.
- Start date: as soon as possible.
- English is required; German and Scandinavian languages are beneficial.
