The Enterprise Technology Services organization partners with every part of the American Express business to power the company’s growth and innovation with trust and efficiency, and drive competitive differentiation with speed. We support the delivery and operations of technology, digital, and data capabilities, platforms, and services globally. Specifically, our team is responsible for the company’s technology engineering, architecture, and infrastructure, providing 24x7 support to ensure an uninterrupted, high-quality experience for customers and colleagues. We also provide product management for core enterprise platforms, and lead technology risk and information security, enterprise data governance and platforms, digital product and design, and enterprise AI platforms on behalf of the company.

As an Analyst, SEO & AI Search Optimization , you will play a critical role in advancing American Express’ visibility in this new landscape. You will help ensure our content is not only indexed—but also interpreted, trusted, and surfaced in AI-generated responses .

This role blends technical SEO, structured data, and AI-ready content optimization . You will partner across product, engineering, marketing, and analytics teams to improve how American Express content performs across both search engines and large language models (LLMs).

- 2+ years of SEO experience (agency or in-house; enterprise/global experience a plus).
- Familiarity with SEO tools (e.g., Conductor, SEMrush, Google Search Console, Adobe Analytics, etc.).
- Advanced technical SEO understanding and web architecture (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Exposure to or interest in using Generative AI to enhance SEO workflows.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred).
