Job Description:
The Director, Third Party Management is responsible for leading and advancing Johnson & Johnson's global third-party management program, with a strong emphasis on operational leadership and execution at scale. The role leads globally distributed operational teams responsible for consistent, compliant, and timely execution across the third-party lifecycle, including onboarding, due diligence, risk assessment, ongoing monitoring, issue resolution, and offboarding. The Director is accountable for service delivery, operational performance, capacity and workload management, quality, controls, and continuous improvement across regions.
The role will partner closely with Procurement, Compliance, Legal, Privacy, Security, Finance, and other enterprise risk functions to ensure effective governance, compliance, risk management, and operational excellence throughout the third-party lifecycle.
The Director will lead a large, globally distributed organization of managers, team leads, and individual contributors, establishing clear accountability and consistent operating standards across regions. The role will strengthen risk management capabilities, enhance stakeholder experience, drive operational efficiencies, and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

Program Leadership & Governance
- Lead the execution and continuous improvement of the enterprise Third Party Management (TPM) program.
- Establish and maintain governance frameworks, policies, standards, and operating procedures supporting third-party risk management.
- Ensure TPM processes align with enterprise risk management objectives, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on third-party risk trends, program performance, operational capacity, and improvement opportunities.
Global Operations Leadership
- Own day-to-day operational execution across the third-party lifecycle, with accountability for throughput, quality, compliance, cycle times, service levels, and stakeholder experience.
- Lead a large, globally distributed operations organization across multiple regions and time zones, providing direction to managers, team leads, and individual contributors.
- Establish a consistent global operating model, including standardized work, controls, escalation paths, workload allocation, service management, and operational routines.
- Develop capacity and workforce plans that align staffing and skills with transaction volumes, service-level expectations, regional requirements, and changing business demand.
- Monitor operational performance through dashboards and management routines; identify bottlenecks, quality issues, control gaps, and emerging risks and drive timely corrective action.
- Serve as the senior escalation point for complex operational issues, risk exceptions, service disruptions, and execution challenges.
- Ensure regional operations remain aligned with global standards while appropriately addressing local business and regulatory requirements.

Risk & Compliance Management

- Oversee third-party risk identification, due diligence, risk assessments, remediation, ongoing monitoring, and offboarding activities.
- Partner with Compliance, Legal, Privacy, Global Security, Information Security, Healthcare Compliance, and other stakeholders to manage third-party risks effectively.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements related to sanctions, anti-bribery and corruption, anti-money laundering, privacy, and supplier risk management.
- Support audit and regulatory examinations by maintaining a robust and audit-ready control environment.
Procurement & Cross-Functional Partnership
- Collaborate closely with Procurement leaders to embed risk-based decision-making throughout the supplier lifecycle.
- Drive consistency and simplification across sourcing, contracting, onboarding, monitoring, and risk management activities.
- Partner with business stakeholders to balance risk management expectations with business objectives and operational efficiency.
Operational Excellence & Transformation
- Develop and track key performance indicators, service levels, program metrics, capacity measures, quality indicators, and operational health metrics.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes, reduce handoffs and cycle times, leverage automation, and improve user experiences.
- Support implementation and optimization of technology platforms, workflow tools, and digital capabilities supporting TPM, ensuring solutions are operationally scalable and effective for global teams.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance effectiveness, compliance, productivity, and operational scalability.
- Build disciplined performance-management routines that translate data and trends into clear operational priorities and corrective actions.
People Leadership
- Lead and develop a large, globally distributed team of managers, team leads, and individual contributors across multiple regions and time zones.
- Build an effective global operating structure with clear roles, decision rights, accountability, and mechanisms for collaboration across locations.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, operational discipline, and continuous improvement.
- Establish succession plans, talent development strategies, workforce planning activities, and capability-building plans that support current and future operational needs.
- Coach and develop leaders and team members while promoting Johnson & Johnson's Credo and Leadership Imperatives.
- Create consistent expectations for performance, quality, controls, and service delivery while enabling regional leaders to manage local execution effectively.

Required Qualifications:
Education
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- Advanced degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Law,
- Compliance, Risk Management, or related field preferred.
Experience
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in Third Party Management, Procurement, Compliance, Risk Management, Supplier Management, shared services, operations, or related disciplines.
- Significant operations leadership experience managing complex, high-volume, process-driven services with accountability for service delivery, quality, controls, productivity, and continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated experience leading a large, globally distributed organization through managers and team leads, with responsibility for teams operating across multiple regions and time zones.
- Demonstrated experience leading global programs and cross-functional initiatives in complex organizations.
- Experience with workforce planning, capacity management, operational performance management, service levels, and regional workload balancing.
- Strong background in both Procurement and Compliance disciplines.
- Experience working with third-party risk management frameworks, supplier governance programs, and regulatory compliance requirements.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Deep understanding of third-party risk management principles and governance frameworks.
- Strong operational management capability, including service delivery, capacity planning, performance management, process controls, issue escalation, and continuous improvement at scale.
- Proven ability to lead through layers of management and create consistency across geographically dispersed teams.
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes and supplier lifecycle management.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements including anti-bribery and corruption (ABC), anti-money laundering (AML), sanctions, privacy, and related compliance programs.
- Proven ability to influence senior executives and lead through matrix organizations.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with digital workflow, risk, procurement, or service management platforms.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced global environment.
Travel Requirements

The anticipated base pay range for this position is:
Kč2,286,000.00 - Kč3,944,500.00
