We are looking for a talented Powergen Project Co Ordinator to join our team in Sales for Cummins Ireland, Dublin, DBU North Business Park.
Working expectation: 3 days from Office / 2 Days from Home - also this role will require 10% domestic and 10% international travel as required
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Support Project Managers in the day-to-day management of projects, coordinating administrative activities, maintaining project documentation, and managing defined workstreams within well-established projects.
- Support project financial management, including budget tracking, forecasting, monitoring project costs, revenue and profitability, and ensuring timely and accurate customer invoicing.
- Maintain and implement project financial tracking tools and metrics, supporting the introduction and effective use of project budget monitoring templates across the Ireland project team.
- Assist Project Managers with project forecasting and performance monitoring, maintaining accurate and up-to-date forecasts while identifying and escalating financial risks and opportunities.
- Support purchasing and inventory management throughout the end-to-end process, maintaining visibility of procurement activities, monitoring supplier schedules, and proactively highlighting potential delays or risks.
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to support timely procurement, including expediting suppliers, implementing schedule controls, and supporting the timely processing and payment of supplier invoices.
- Support project planning, risk management, and issue resolution, maintaining project timelines, tracking actions and risks, documenting lessons learned, and communicating project status to Project Managers and relevant stakeholders.
- Support the ongoing enhancement and implementation of SAP processes and functionalities, contributing to process improvements and helping project teams adopt effective systems, tools, and business processes.
Education/ Experience:
- High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
- College or equivalent degree preferred.
- Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through training or on-the-job experience.
