Staff Nurse – Outpatients (Bank)

Up to £25 per hour depending on skills and experience

As a Staff Nurse on the outpatients department at our Chichester Hospital, you’ll drive the standard in patient care. Experience in Gynaecology, Dermatology and or Opthamics desirable. You’re registered with the appropriate governing body, plus you bring the qualifications and experience that are relevant to your registration, including NMC. You also have post-registration experience.
As a OPD Staff Nurse, you will:
- Be flexible, motivated, an excellent communicator and team worker
- Join a close-knit team headed by our matron on our consultant-led ward
- Fully understand and pay close attention to each patient’s needs
- Work directly with some of the best clinical talent around
- Gain valuable experience of new practices, equipment and facilities
- Collaborate with practitioners across other departments to ensure continuity in patient care

Nuffield Health Chichester Hospital
Nuffield Health Chichester Hospital is a 30 bedded hospital within walking distance of the city centre with free onsite car parking. The hospital has two laminar flow operating theatres, two minor treatment rooms and minor procedure room in the outpatient department. There is a small radiology department and CT/ MRI services are provided in a mobile unit. Inpatient physiotherapy is provided within the hospital whilst our outpatients attend the fitness and wellbeing centre at Chichester gate for their follow up physio and hydrotherapy treatments.
Our main speciality is orthopaedics. We also care for patients needing treatment within the specialties of gynaecology, urology, general surgery, plastic surgery, ophthalmology max fax, and pain. We provide outpatient services for dermatology, cardiology, neurology, and rheumatology.
