WHAT WE'RE DOING
• Advancing the Integrated Discrimination and Electronic Protection capabilities of the Missile Defense System (MDS)
• Leading systems engineering trades, analysis, and studies related to requirements generation
• Developing and delivering MDS capabilities and engineering artifacts into the Technical Baseline (TBL)

THE WORK
This position's primary role will be representing the SE&IT by supporting MDA/DE-SEA (Enterprise Analysis &Technical Innovation) and its role within the MDA Joint Analysis Team OAT). In the test analyst role, the candidate will perform Missile Defense System (MDS) performance analysis of test data generated primarily by the MDA Ground Test (HWIL) program. The candidate may also support analysis of MDA Flight Test events, Real World Event data, and Golden Dome for America (GDA) tests. The role includes developing approaches and tools to support executing System-level and Element-level performance analysis on the complex MDS, and producing analysis results and inputs to the official SEA test report products. In addition, analysts often present their finding during mission data reviews. The engineer will be responsible for working with associated Systems Engineering (SE) teams, Test Organizations, Warfighters and Element Program focals to ensure MDS tests meet technical intent, assess system capabilities, and characterize behaviors. In this role, the candidate will develop, utilize and present analytical products with the intent of assessing strategic and/or theater/regional element system level performance of the MDS in ground test and flight test events. SEA performs analysis on all elements of the MDS, with a focus on System-Level behaviors.

Basic Qualifications

* Degree and experience in an engineering classification, mathematics or physics: Bachelor's, Master's or PhD Candidates with strong systems engineering or MDS analysis background and demonstrated collaboration and presentation skills
* Three years of experience performing systems engineering test analysis for the Missile Defense System. Experience documenting and presenting analysis findings.
* Secret clearance is minimum requirement, with higher clearance preferable. Must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Desired Skills

* Strong systems engineering or MDS analysis background and demonstrated collaboration and presentation skills are desired.
* System level interface design and specification development experience is desired. Additionally, knowledge of the Missile Defense System (MDS), a working knowledge of SQL, PostgreSQL, Python, Jupiter Notebooks, Tableau or similar analytical tools, system analysis, and system level testing are desired.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $104900.00 - $194700.00
