Job Title: Restaurant Construction Project Manager / Superintendent Job Description This role oversees the successful delivery of restaurant construction projects, with a strong focus on fast-food establishments and select full-service restaurants. The Project Manager / Superintendent coordinates all on-site activities, ensures projects meet quality, schedule, and budget expectations, and works closely with a small, dedicated project team to deliver high-quality restaurant spaces. Responsibilities
- Lead and manage restaurant construction projects from planning through completion, ensuring work is delivered on time and within scope.
- Oversee daily on-site operations for fast-food and full-service restaurant projects, maintaining a visible presence at the job site.
- Coordinate and direct the activities of a small project team of 24 construction professionals to achieve project goals.
- Collaborate with trade partners and vendors to schedule work, resolve issues, and maintain project momentum.
- Monitor construction progress, proactively identify risks or delays, and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track.
- Ensure all work meets established quality standards and adheres to applicable building codes and safety requirements.
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders to provide updates on schedule, milestones, and any changes impacting the project.
- Review project plans, specifications, and timelines to confirm feasibility and align on-site activities with project objectives.
- Support the coordination of inspections and approvals required for restaurant construction and fit-out.
- Promote a collaborative and professional work environment on site, fostering effective teamwork and problem-solving.
Essential Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Project Manager or Superintendent in construction.
- Demonstrated experience managing restaurant, retail, or closely related commercial construction projects.
- Proven ability to oversee daily on-site construction activities and coordinate small project teams.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to maintain schedules and manage multiple tasks.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members, trade partners, and stakeholders.
- Ability to work on site full-time and actively manage fast-paced restaurant construction environments.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- experience in fast-food restaurant construction or fit-outs is highly beneficial.
- Experience with a mix of fast-food and higher-end restaurant projects is an advantage.
- Familiarity with retail construction processes and timelines is helpful.
- Capacity to adapt to evolving project requirements and prioritize work in a dynamic environment.
Work Environment This is a site-based role with daily presence required at active restaurant construction projects. The position works closely with a small team of 24 colleagues, fostering a collaborative and hands-on environment. Projects are focused exclusively on restaurant construction, predominantly fast-food locations with some full-service restaurants. The work setting is fast-paced and involves coordination with multiple trades and vendors, adherence to safety practices, and active oversight of all on-site activities.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $40.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
