Quality Assurance Technician (3rd Shift)

What You'll Do
As a Quality Assurance Technician, you'll help ensure the safety, quality, and consistency of products enjoyed by consumers across the country. Key responsibilities include:
- Perform routine quality checks on ingredients, products in production, and finished goods
- Collect samples from production lines and perform basic laboratory testing
- Monitor food safety programs, GMPs, sanitation practices, and quality standards
- Document test results and maintain accurate quality records
- Inspect production processes and identify any quality concerns
- Assist with environmental monitoring and product sampling
- Support investigations of quality issues and corrective actions
- Work closely with production teams to ensure products meet quality expectations
- Verify scales, thermometers, pH meters, and other testing equipment are functioning properly
- Help maintain compliance with HACCP, FDA, and food safety requirements
What We're Looking For
Minimum Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience in food manufacturing, food production, QA/QC, laboratory testing, or a related environment OR
- Associate degree in Food Science, Biology, Chemistry, Nutrition, or another science-related field
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment
- Exposure to HACCP, GMPs, or food safety programs
- Experience performing inspections, quality checks, or laboratory testing
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
- Comfortable working independently and communicating with production teams
- Basic computer skills for documentation and data entry
We Will Train Candidates Who Have:
- Food manufacturing experience but limited QA experience
- Associate degrees in a science-related discipline
- Production experience and an interest in food safety and quality
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail

Schedule
Training: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (approximately 4 weeks) Permanent Schedule: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM
- 2 days on / 2 days off rotation
- Alternating weekends
- Every other week includes a 48-hour work week, followed by a 32-hour work week
Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Louis, MO.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be
