# Job Description Summary
Support the cell leader in manufacturing LMS 100 Power Turbine Sub Assemblies (PTSAs) by serving as the shop floor technical connection between the manufacturing personnel assembling the product, the Bill of Materials engineer, the Quality Engineer, EHS Manager, and the remote product engineering team.

Job Description

•        Assist to create safe and efficient assembly sequencing and shop floor environment.

•        Based on experience, recommend methods and tools where existing documentation is insufficient

•        Solve daily technical / technology related production issues on Shop floor

•     Bring new ideas and positive support to the current processes

•        Support investigation of quality issues

•        Analize operator suggestions (Kaizen ideas) and provide input to the Cell Leader

•        Support Cell Leader to identify training and qualifications of operators

•        Participate in LEAN initiative, support AWO actions to completion

•        Daily monitoring of manufacturing processes on the Shop, work with Quality Engineer to assure that operators are following the given processes

•        Monitor critical enablers used in production (tools, fixtures, machines etc.). Collect and evaluate requests, equipment related improvement opportunities.

•        Participate in Indirect material specifications and identifying suppliers

•        Active input to performance appraisal of the Shopfloor operators

•        Active participation in mandatory EHS trainings and events

•        Immediately report the incidents and near misses to the Cell Leader and EHS Manager and halt operations when injury or property damage risk is present

•       Support Quality Engineer to document operator procedures and to collect product quality data.

•       Further tasks not involved in this Job Description, that the immediate leader/manager assigns verbally or in writing.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $91,700.00 and $152,700.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.

Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
