As Reward Gateway | Edenred continues to scale globally, we are expanding our Delivery function to support a growing portfolio of cloud‑based, high‑availability SaaS products. With a significant number of engineering squads operating across regions, we are looking for a high‑impact Senior Agile Delivery Manager who thrives in complex engineering environments and can bring clarity, structure, and predictability to multi‑team delivery.
This is a high‑ownership, hands‑on individual contributor role. You will directly own delivery for 3 - 4 engineering squads, working closely with Product, Engineering, Architecture, and fellow Agile Delivery Managers to ensure seamless delivery across features, platform initiatives, technical debt, and incidents.
Flexible, hybrid working:
Our office is for you to use as much as you like; as a minimum our Delivery team works from our London office (https://careers.rewardgateway.com/our-workspaces) at least twice a week.
Some of Your Responsibilities & Core Duties will include:
Delivery Ownership (Across 3–4 Engineering Squads)
- Own end-to-end delivery for 3–4 engineering squads, ensuring clear priorities, strong execution rigor, and predictable delivery outcomes.
- Maintain a deep understanding of each squad’s roadmap, capacity, constraints, and performance.
- Lead delivery across product features, technical debt, platform improvements, and operational work (incidents, resilience, support).
- Ensure readiness for delivery through well‑structured backlogs, aligned objectives, and clear acceptance criteria.
Cross‑Team Delivery & Dependency Management
- Work closely with other Agile Delivery Managers to manage dependencies across 30+ global engineering squads.
- Coordinate sequencing, risk management, and alignment for transversal initiatives spanning multiple teams.
- Facilitate cross‑squad forums (Scrum of Scrums, dependency reviews, release readiness syncs).
- Maintain clear documentation of dependencies, risks, and mitigation plans (RAID logs, delivery boards).
Agile Ways of Working (Multi‑Team Environment)
- Facilitate agile ceremonies for assigned squads (stand‑ups, sprint planning, refinements, reviews, retros).
- Champion lean, scalable delivery practices that work across multiple teams and regions.
- Promote continuous improvement and delivery rigor across squads.
- Support teams in iterative planning, effective estimation, and realistic forecasting.
Technical Delivery & Engineering Alignment
- Understand architectural patterns used across squads (APIs, microservices, cloud services, CI/CD pipelines).
- Partner with Engineering Leads and Architects to identify and manage technical risks, platform dependencies, and environment constraints.
- Feed technical incidents, post‑mortems, and reliability improvements into delivery plans and backlogs.
- Ensure technical debt and resilience initiatives receive appropriate prioritisation and visibility.
Communication & Stakeholder Management
- Provide clear and concise updates on progress, risks, delivery confidence, and scope changes to senior stakeholders.
- Act as the primary delivery partner for Product Managers and Engineering Leads.
- Translate complex technical issues into business‑relevant insights.
- Maintain strong relationships across Engineering, Product, Security, Data Protection and Architecture.
Process, Tooling & Continuous Improvement
- Shape delivery practices to support consistency and predictability across global teams.
- Use delivery metrics (lead time, cycle time, throughput, deployment frequency, incident trends) to drive improvement.
- Support squads in adopting effective tooling (Jira, Confluence, Miro, dashboards).
- Champion a culture of learning, experimentation, and operational excellence.
The Experience and Key Skills you will have:
- Proven experience as an Agile Delivery Manager, Delivery Lead, or Senior Scrum Master in a tech‑first or SaaS organization.
- Experience managing delivery for multiple squads simultaneously (typically 3–5 teams).
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and modern engineering practices.
- Hands‑on experience coordinating delivery in cloud-native environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Familiarity with microservices, APIs, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and modern cloud architectures.
- Experience supporting incident response and post‑incident delivery.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and manage cross‑team dependencies in scaled engineering organizations.
- Strong experience with Jira & Confluence and/or other delivery reporting tools.
