Hearst UK operates an in office policy with flexible Friday's. Our office is based at House of Hearst, 30 Panton Street, St James's, London, SW1Y 4AJ , where teams collaborate in person and connect across brands and functions.

Salary - Circa £30,000-£35,000 - Salary is dependent on experience and will be assessed in line with the candidate's skills, knowledge relevant expertise.

The Role…

As the Senior Content Creator for Red, you will create polished, authoritative and traffic-driving content for Red, one of the UK’s leading women’s lifestyle magazines – with a particular focus on Fashion content, as well as Entertainment and Beauty. You will bring a refined editorial eye to daily digital stories and newsletters, helping to shape Red’s voice across platforms. Reporting to the Multiplatform Director, you will work closely with the wider Red team to deliver daily content that feels inspiring, polished and unmistakably Red.

Main Duties…

- Write, edit and publish daily news and features, ensuring high editorial standards across content, headlines, imagery and SEO – with a particular focus on Fashion content, as well as Beauty and Entertainment.
- Generate traffic-driving content ideas using data analytics, SEO research, audience insights and platform performance to identify what readers are searching for, engaging with and returning to.
- Build the Red weekly newsletter, ensuring it is polished, engaging, commercially aware and aligned with the magazine’s editorial positioning.
- Build the weekly Love Red membership newsletter, as needed.
- Support the Multiplatform Director with meeting digital targets and day-to-day workflow
- Support in delivering brand-building social initiatives for the brand.

What We Are Looking For…

- Proven experience in a digital editorial role within women’s lifestyle or luxury media, with a track record of helping to drive audience growth and engagement
- Exceptional writing skills, with strong attention to detail and high editorial judgement
- Confidence working with CMS and newsletter platforms, with a good understanding of digital publishing standards and workflows.
- Strong understanding of SEO, Google Discover and digital publishing best practices, with experience applying these to shape editorial ideas, drive traffic and improve engagement.
- Deep understanding of the Red brand and women’s lifestyle media with a particular interest in Fashion, as well as Entertainment and Beauty.
- Confident communicator, comfortable working with senior stakeholders and representing the brand externally
