The Opportunity:

As an administrative support analyst serving the Joint Interagency Task Force 401 (JIATF‑401), you will contribute to our team’s mission to strengthen the Department of Defense’s counter‑unmanned aircraft systems (C‑UAS) enterprise and safeguard warfighters, critical infrastructure, and the homeland. Our role is to synchronize C‑UAS efforts across the defense and interagency community by integrating threat intelligence, emerging technologies, testing, acquisition, and training to ensure timely and effective defense against small UAS threats. By enhancing shared awareness of friendly and adversarial drone capabilities, identifying operational gaps, and accelerating the delivery of validated counter‑drone solutions, JIATF‑401 empowers commanders and mission partners with the knowledge, tools, and support needed to detect, track, and defeat hostile drones across diverse operational environments.

The Administrative Analyst serves in a high-trust front office role supporting JIATF 401, a Joint Interagency Task Force reporting to the Deputy Secretary of Defense and focused on rapidly aligning authorities and resources to deliver Joint counter-small unmanned aircraft system (C-sUAS) capabilities, defeat adversary threats, and strengthen protection of U.S. and allied forces and national airspace.

- Monitors and manages information flow across the front office to support timely communication, coordination, and decision-making.
- Handles sensitive or confidential information with discretion, professionalism, and sound judgment.
- Prepares, edits, and quality-controls correspondence, reports, spreadsheets, read-aheads, and other executive support documents.

- May train or mentor junior administrative support personnel as required.
- Operates in accordance with front office expectations that emphasize trust, teamwork, disciplined initiative, information sharing, competence, and a bias toward fixing problems rather than passing them forward.
