Work Schedule : Ally designates roles as (1) fully on-site, (2) hybrid, or (3) fully remote. Hybrid roles are generally expected to be in the office a certain number of days per week as indicated by your manager. Your hiring manager will discuss this role's specific work requirements with you during the hiring process. All work requirements are subject to change at any time based on leader discretion and/or business need.


The Opportunity
This role is on a hybrid schedule in office a few days each week in either our Charlotte or Jacksonville office with some remote work.
The Enterprise Sanctions Program Sr. Analyst will support the execution of Financial Crimes Compliance (FCC) strategic initiatives and governance related activities in order to maintain an effective enterprise sanctions compliance program. This role will assist in supporting sanctions screening initiatives, regulatory list-change activities, risk assessments, issue management, and program reporting. This role will work cross functionally with stakeholders as appropriate, including other FCC teams, Compliance, Technology, and Risk.


The Work Itself
- Monitor sanctions developments and internal risk events, assess operational impact, and support updates to procedures, job aids, training, and communications.
- Support regulatory exams, internal audits, compliance testing, and other reviews by organizing evidence and responding to requests.
- Support development, documentation, tracking, and reporting of FCC strategic priorities through coordination with FCC Management.
- Support OFAC risk assessments activities, monitoring, testing, and issue management.
- Support blocked and rejected transaction processes, including record retention, internal notifications, account or transaction restrictions, and regulatory reporting.
- Provide cross-functional support for sanctions screening and watchlist clearing.
- Partner with business units, Operations, Technology, Risk, Legal, and Audit to interpret sanctions requirements, resolve escalations, and strengthen processes.
- Lead or support cross-functional sanctions projects and strategic initiatives while balancing priorities.
- Identify ways to improve efficiency, data quality, automation, and control effectiveness while maintaining strong sanctions risk management.

The Qualifications We’re Looking For
- 3–5 years of experience in sanctions, OFAC, anti-money laundering, financial crimes compliance, investigations, or screening; financial services preferred.
- Knowledge of U.S. sanctions requirements, including screening, blocked and rejected transactions, escalation, recordkeeping, and reporting.
- Experience with system testing, data validation, quality assurance, risk assessments, audits, or exams preferred.
- Relevant certification, such as CAMS or CGSS, preferred or willingness to obtain one.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Strong writing, research, documentation, and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to explain complex issues clearly.
- Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and appropriate escalation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments, adapt priorities, and deliver accurate work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and reporting tools used to identify trends and communicate results.
- Collaborative, curious, and willing to handle both complex analysis and routine operational tasks.

Base Pay Range
$70,000.00 - $120,000.00

An individual's position in the range is determined by the specific role, the scope and responsibilities of the role, work experience, education, certification(s), training, and additional qualifications. We review internal pay, the competitive market, and business environment prior to extending an offer.


Incentive Compensation:
This position is eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan.
