Work Schedule : Ally designates roles as (1) fully on-site, (2) hybrid, or (3) fully remote. Hybrid roles are generally expected to be in the office a certain number of days per week as indicated by your manager. Your hiring manager will discuss this role's specific work requirements with you during the hiring process. All work requirements are subject to change at any time based on leader discretion and/or business need.


The Opportunity
The AML Program Analyst II will support the execution of Financial Crimes Compliance (FCC) strategic initiatives, governance routines, and related oversight activities for Auto, Insurance, and Enterprise Functions. The analyst will primarily be responsible for tracking FCC strategic initiatives, facilitating risk assessment activities, and supporting AML & OFAC issues management. However, this individual may be involved in additional routines to support the Enterprise AML Program as needed. The analyst will be expected to collaborate with applicable FCC, Business Line, Compliance, and Risk partners across the enterprise.


The Work Itself
- Support risk assessment activities across FCC, which includes processes and methodology for the Risk-Control Self-Assessments, AML and OFAC Risk Assessments, and Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) Risk Assessments
- Support development, documentation, tracking, and reporting of FCC strategic priorities through coordination with FCC Management
- Facilitate issues management processes for issues owned by FCC; support ongoing tracking and reporting of business line and enterprise function issues that have AML/OFAC impact
- Support FCC cross-functional projects that often require shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment to deliver on commitments to meet stakeholder needs
- May support other governance and oversight routines such as documenting effective challenge routines, procedure reviews, regulatory change management, etc.
- May support activities related to oversight of business lines (governance reporting materials, compliance requirements, stakeholder communications, etc.).
- Escalate risks and issues, and assist with risk mitigation as appropriate
- Partner with other functions to collaborate and align strategic initiatives or deliverables
The Qualifications We’re Looking For
- 1-3 years related AML/OFAC experience; financial services experience strongly preferred
- Prior experience in project management or risk management preferred
- Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) preferred (already obtained or a commitment to obtain)
- Bachelors’ degree in business or related major or equivalent experience
- Working knowledge of applicable AML and Sanctions laws and regulations, including the BSA, USA PATRIOT Act, and OFAC compliance
- Ability to respond quickly to a changing environment
- Attention to detail and superior written and oral communication skills with an ability to communicate and influence effectively
- Ability to identify and make recommendations to maximize efficiency and effectiveness
- Proven ability to simultaneously accomplish multiple assignments and prioritize work as needed to meet business needs
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Experience using Archer (GRC) preferred
- General openness and willingness to learn - ambitious but willing to perform tasks at all levels, including some routine or administrative tasks. High aptitude for new skills, flexibility around work assignments, and strong desire to work as part of a team

Base Pay Range
$55,000.00 - $95,000.00

An individual's position in the range is determined by the specific role, the scope and responsibilities of the role, work experience, education, certification(s), training, and additional qualifications. We review internal pay, the competitive market, and business environment prior to extending an offer.


Incentive Compensation:
This position is eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan.
