The Azure Compliance team is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Principal Program Manager - Customer Experience Program Management to manage examinations conducted by the European regulators.</p><p>The Principal Program Manager - Customer Experience Program Management will manage the work with multiple internal stakeholders within Microsoft, as well as external stakeholders within European regulators, to understand regulatory examination requirements and operationalize solutions that scale and maintain a consistently high-quality, well-coordinated experience throughout examinations and ongoing oversight activities. The role will define how to execute and manage regulatory examination engagements (including scoping, evidence gathering, stakeholder coordination, and response management) across multiple Azure service offerings, ensuring European regulators have a seamless and transparent experience working with Azure.<br><br>Our Azure Compliance team manages the external audits and regulatory examinations that Azure supports. We partner with engineering, security, legal, and compliance teams, as well as external regulators and auditors, to ensure that regulators and customers have a trusted, well-managed experience when engaging with Azure. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.</p><br><br><b>Responsibilities</b><br><ul><li>Manage and execute at scale Azure's regulatory examination and engagement programs.</li><li>Bring project management experience to medium-large scale, cross-functional programs, working in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple, disparate activities at once.</li><li>Demonstrate enthusiasm, integrity, ingenuity, results-driven thinking, self-motivation, and resourcefulness.</li><li>Collaborate with team members to devise strategies and processes around the regulator program, acting as a thought leader in building scalable tooling and processes.</li><li>Create and manage effective action plans in response to regulator and examiner findings.</li><li>Review and audit Azure's procedures, practices, and documents to identify potential gaps in the regulators' engagement experience.</li><li>Engage with regulators for ad-hoc examination and compliance support, embodying our Culture and Values. </li></ul><br><br><b>Qualifications</b><br><p>Required Qualifications:</p><div><ul><li>Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Math, Business, or related field AND experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development <ul><li>OR equivalent experience.</li></ul></li><li>Experience in planning, executing, and completing end-to-end regulatory examination or audit engagements (e.g., SOC 2, PCI, ISO, HITRUST, FedRAMP, DORA). </li><li>Proficiency in managing cross-functional and/or cross-team programs, including engagement with external regulators and customers.</li></ul></div><div><p>Other Requirements:</p><ul><li>Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:<ul><li>Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.</li></ul></li></ul><p>Preferred Qualifications:</p><div><ul><li>Master's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Math, Business, or related field AND experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development<ul><li>OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Math, Business, or related field AND experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development</li><li>OR equivalent experience.</li></ul></li><li>Demonstrated knowledge, experience, and understanding of key security and regulatory frameworks (SOC 2, PCI, ISO, NIST, COSO, COBIT, DORA).</li><li>End to end regulatory examination/audit and certification lifecycle experience, ideally including work with European supervisory authorities.</li><li><span>Proven technical background spanning security, networking, Azure architecture, core Azure services, and cloud infrastructure.</span></li><li>CISSP, CISA, and/or CISM certification preferred, but not required. </li></ul></div><div>#azurecorejobs</div></div> <br><br><p>Customer Experience Program Mgmt IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across Romania is lei 331,000.00 - lei 567,500.00 per year.
