Job Description:

The Role
The Chaska site is seeking a Material Handler to join our team on Red 1/Green 1 shift (6am-6pm, rotating Sun, Wed, Thu/Mon, Tue, Fri, Sat). As a Material Handler you will support warehouse and production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for the safe, accurate, and timely movement of materials throughout the facility to ensure production teams have the materials needed to meet customer demand.

What You'll Do
• Receive, store, move, and distribute materials throughout the facility.
• Load, unload, and transport materials using powered industrial trucks (PIT), including forklifts.
• Facilitate B2 to B3 transfers using the van and box truck (DOT health card needed).
• Support put-away functions/checking stock requirements for unneeded materials.
• Deliver resin, packaging supplies, components, and other materials to clean room and production areas.
• Operate the Schmalz vacuum system to transfer resin into clean room resin hoppers.
• Support inventory accuracy through cycle counts, inventory verification, and material transactions.
• Receive and process materials from third-party logistics (3PL) providers.
• Transfer materials between warehouse, production, and off-site storage locations.
• Complete required documentation and system transactions accurately.
• Identify and communicate inventory discrepancies and material issues to the inventory team.
• Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

What We Seek
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous warehouse or material handling experience preferred.
• Experience with SAP or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) preferred.
• Experience operating forklifts or other powered industrial equipment preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy.
• Basic computer, math, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements
• Ability to stand and walk throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Required to wear PPE, including safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, and high-visibility vests.
• Ability to safely operate powered industrial trucks (PIT) and occasionally work at heights up to 20 feet.
• Ability to work in varying warehouse temperatures and conditions near shipping and receiving docks.
