The Role:
Our Bedford, MA site is seeking a Material Handler to join our Operations team on 1st shift (6:00 AM to 2:30 PM).
This role is responsible for managing operational inventory, including consumables, fixtures, and bulk materials, while maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting the efficient flow of materials throughout production. Key responsibilities include releasing production work orders, ensuring the timely completion of operations preventive maintenance (PM) activities, and managing material and fixture availability to support production schedules.
The Material Handler will work closely with team members across the ESC Operations organization, as well as Planning and Warehouse teams, to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. They will be responsible for key operational metrics including cycle count on time completion %, inventory accuracy, on time PM completion %, work order release on time, and material availability.
The ideal candidate will have experience with SAP, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally with Operations, Planning, and Warehouse personnel.
What You’ll Do:
- Follow all safety policies, procedures, and best practices, including wearing the required PPE while on the production floor.
- Perform cycle counts in coordination with Inventory Control to ensure production-owned SAP storage locations maintain accurate inventory records. Achieve 100% on-time completion of cycle counts and maintain inventory accuracy of 97% or greater.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Manage bulk inventory bins on the production floor and coordinate warehouse replenishment requests to ensure zero production downtime due to material shortages.
- Escalate material shortages, inventory risks, and production constraints to Operations and Planning teams to prevent schedule impacts.
- Administer the Fastenal inventory management system and identify opportunities to expand inventory coverage through Fastenal solutions.
- Execute material-to-stock transactions accurately and on time.
- Support Operations by releasing work orders from production-owned SAP storage locations (SLOCs).
- Coordinate and track Operations PM activities to ensure 100% on-time completion and accurate closure of maintenance records.
- Ensure all production materials, fixtures, and consumables are available and staged to support daily production schedules.
- Coordinate document scanning activities with external vendors and ensure records are maintained appropriately.
- Follow established work instructions with 100% adherence to maintain product quality and process consistency.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment by following Entegris 6S standards.
- Prioritize and execute tasks based on production requirements and changing business needs.
- Record production confirmations in SAP and enter required inspection and production data into CamLine.
- Demonstrate and promote Entegris PACE values in all daily activities and interactions.
What We Seek:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) is required
- Minimum of 3yrs manufacturing, production support, inventory control, or material handling
- Hands-on SAP experience
- Experience with maintaining inventory accuracy and cycle counting
- Experience working with KPIs and on-time completion metrics
- Attention to detail and 6S/5S discipline
- Able to work Overtime including weekends when needed.
- Able to work around chemicals (including but not limited to IPA, Acetone, FeCl, HCL, FEP)
- Fluency in English is required for training purposes
- Able to lift 40lbs and stand for almost entire shift
- Ability to work in clean room
- SAP knowledge
- Flexibility to be trained and cross trained in other departments

- Salary range for this position is $24-$27 based on experience.
