Serving Tustin, Santa Ana and other surrounding communities, Foothill Regional Medical Center is a fully accredited acute care hospital, licensed for 177 beds—120 beds for general acute care, 15 intensive care beds and 42 pediatric sub-acute beds. Our surgeons are supported by state-of-the-art robotics.

What You'll Do
The Respiratory Care Practitioner provides comprehensive respiratory care services across acute and sub-acute settings. Responsibilities include conducting patient assessments, administering respiratory therapies, managing invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilation, performing airway management and arterial blood gas analysis, and responding to respiratory emergencies, Code Blue, and Rapid Response events. The RCP collaborates with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes, supports long-term ventilator and tracheostomy patients, educates patients and families, maintains respiratory equipment, and ensures accurate documentation and compliance with all regulatory, safety, and quality standards.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year knowledge and experience as a RCP
- Graduate of an accredited respiratory care program.
- Current California Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license in good standing.
- Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Current AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Current AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential through the National Board for Respiratory Care preferred
Environmental Job Requirements and Working Conditions
- Our organization follows an in person work structure where the expectation is to work onsite on a weekly basis. The hospital is located at 14662 Newport Ave, Tustin, CA 92780.
- The total compensation target pay range for this role is $32.00 - $41.00 per hour. The salary range represents our national target range for this role.
- 12 Hour Shift = 8 hours at base rate. 1.5 x base for hours over 8 in a 12-hour shift.
