Client Relationship Manager, Client Services

The Client Relationship Manager, Client Services (“CRM”) has the responsibility for the day-to-day management and oversight of an active portfolio of clients, effectively processing client requests in a timely and accurate fashion to ensure longstanding, successful and profitable relationships with clients and intermediaries, maintaining client retention levels. The CRM will be required to oversee the accurate and timely onboarding and offboarding of clients; ensure accurate and timely client billing and collection of outstanding invoices; conduct all required regulatory reporting of their clients with both the Registrar of Companies (ROC), the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority (CIMA) and any internal reporting systems; as well as supporting senior management as necessary. The Client Relationship Manager is also responsible for providing leadership, guidance and technical support to team members via ensuring operational excellence, consistent service delivery, regulatory compliance and achievement of departmental objectives. This role contributes to the development of staff continuous process improvement and the execution of the Company's strategic initiatives.
Some of the things that you’ll be doing:
Relationship Management and Business Development
- Develops and maintains strong relationships with clients, internal stakeholders, intermediaries, legal counsel, regulators and other professional service providers.
- Manages complex client issues / commercial requests, escalating to senior management as appropriate to ensure effective resolution.
- Monitors client satisfaction, identifies service improvements, and implements corrective actions where necessary.
- Understands and executes on CSC’s business objectives by identifying and pro-actively engaging on new business opportunities, cross-sell opportunities and retention risks.
- Builds relationships with law firms, investment managers, accounting firms and other intermediaries to generate new business opportunities
Administration & Transaction
- Responsibility for the delivery of services agreements and ancillary documents to portfolio of clients in line with internal policies and procedures.
- Oversees the client billing process from start to end-of-life cycle, annual fee reviews and invoicing, monthly work-in-progress review and completion, and monitor account receivables to escalate as appropriate.
- Completion of all internal onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure that all clients are compliant with CSC’s policies and procedures.
- Actively participates in identifying any operational/commercial barriers in new/existing processes and procedures providing constructive feedback for improvements while ensuring ongoing compliance.
- Ensures all corporate records remain complete, accurate and compliant with regulatory requirements.
- Oversees statutory maintenance for all entities within the portfolio.
- Monitor portfolio workflow, turnaround times and service level agreements and escalate as appropriate.
- Collaborate with respective teams on regulatory and statutory filing deadlines throughout the annual cycle including compliance with the Beneficial Ownership Transparency Act monthly filings, Economic Substance Notification Filings, AEOI (FATCA/CRS), Annual Returns and any other applicable filings as required.
- Collaborate with respective teams for the completion of relevant periodic review of client files to ensure ongoing compliance with our internal policies and procedures. Ensures open action points are handled promptly and accurately.

Statutory Obligations

What technical skills, qualifications, and experience do you need?
- Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to work effectively under pressure within tight deadlines.
- Self-motivated, capable of working independently as well as within a team.
- Proven understanding of all applicable required regulatory filings and deadlines.
- Proactive decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Strong understanding of corporate governance principles.
- Proven track record within a client-facing role, including the ability to resolve contentious client matters by escalating as appropriate.
- Detailed understanding of corporate governance, relevant local regulations and best practices including but not limited to Anti-Money Laundering regulations and the requirements of Client Due Diligence.
- Detailed knowledge of all forms of corporate structures and the varying requirements for each type of structure.
- Proven experience in understanding and reviewing corporate documents.
- 4+ years of proven and relevant senior corporate administration experience, including demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite – Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint with the ability to learn and adapt to all new forms of new infrastructure systems.
- Proven experience using ViewPoint, CORIS, CAP, REEFS, or similar corporate administration systems.
At CSC, compensation depends on several factors, including job location and the knowledge and experience of each individual. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $70,000 - $95,000 KYD.
