Sales Representative (Ascent Protein)

Within the Ascent Protein team located in Denver – we are seeking a Sales Representative to grow Ascent Nutrition through new customer development and strong wholesale and regional retail partnerships. You will develop new business, expand existing accounts, and work with customers and partners to strengthen Ascent’s presence across your assigned territory.

At Leprino, starting compensation for this role typically ranges between $73,000 and $81,000. This position has an annual target bonus of 5% .

What You’ll Do:

- Identify and develop new wholesale and retail customers across your assigned territory and channels.

- Build lasting relationships with customer decision-makers to expand distribution, volume, and brand presence.

- Grow existing accounts by introducing new products and expanding sales of current Ascent offerings.

- Plan and execute territory sales activities that increase brand awareness and support profitable growth.

- Identify local opportunities to represent Ascent within fitness, health, wellness, and sports nutrition communities.

- Coordinate customer item setup, promotional submissions, portals, and other account administration.

- Use customer and market information to identify opportunities and support account and channel plans.

- Partner with the Ascent Retail Sales Manager and Ascent leadership to coordinate sales and activation plans.

- Work closely with broker partners to support customer relationships, sales execution, and brand growth.

- Coordinate with Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, Quality, and other teams to support customer needs.

You Have At Least (Required Qualifications):

- A bachelor’s degree in Business Management or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

- Three years of sales experience, including responsibility for developing or growing customer accounts.

- Experience building customer relationships and developing new business within an assigned market or territory.

- The ability to travel regularly throughout the assigned territory, including 20–30% overnight travel and occasional weekend work.

We Hope You Also Have (Preferred Qualifications):

- Sales experience within sports nutrition, fitness, health and wellness, consumer products, or a related industry.

- Experience managing a field sales territory and developing wholesale or retail accounts.

- Experience working with brokers, distributors, retailers, gyms, or other channel partners.

- Experience with customer portals, retail item setup, promotional submissions, or syndicated sales data.
