Job Description:

Who We Are

Accelerator is Mars Snacking's growth engine, unlocking potential across high-growth brands like KIND®, RXBAR®, Eggo, and Pop-Tarts. We combine Mars' scale with the agility of a startup, driving innovation through data, automation, and AI. If you thrive in an inspiring, entrepreneurial environment, join us.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Sr. Director, Accelerator ERP & Application Lead, you will define and execute the functional ERP strategy across our expanding brand portfolio. You will directly manage our functional stream leads, spanning Order-to-Cash (OTC), Record-to-Report (R2R), Supply Chain Planning (SCP), and Manufacturing (MFG). Beyond team leadership, you will institutionalize a structured project delivery engine, govern AMS partner performance via robust KPI frameworks, and nurture strategic alliances across Mars Global IT, SAP leadership, and Systems Integration (SI) partners.

Key Responsibilities

- ERP Strategy, Architecture & Harmonization: Steer the multi-year capability roadmap and champion a "Clean Core" SAP S/4HANA strategy. Own end-to-end functional architecture and process harmonization across commercial (OTC), financial (R2R), supply chain (SCP), and manufacturing (MFG) domains, establishing repeatable M&A playbooks to onboard acquired brands.
- Talent & People Leadership: Hire top-tier talent and directly lead the functional leadership bench. Masterfully match people to assignments based on capability, complexity, and growth potential to maximize project delivery and career progression.
- Program Delivery & Operating System: Institutionalize a standardized delivery engine using the SAP Activate methodology and tools like SAP Cloud ALM (CALM), Jira, Monday.com, and Smartsheet. Lead complex, multi-year, multi-stream ERP rollouts.
- AMS Partner Governance: Govern external Application Managed Services (AMS) providers against rigorous SLA/KPI frameworks (MTTR, First-Contact Resolution, backlog burndown, CSAT) and drive root-cause problem elimination.
- Cloud Innovation, AI & Security (with Tech Lead): Partner with the Tech Lead to direct bi-annual cloud releases via CALM. Drive adoption of AI agents (SAP Joule) alongside the SAP Situation Handling framework in a single integrated strategy to proactively resolve business exceptions. Govern role-based access control (RBAC) and Segregation of Duties (SoD) under Mars Cybersecurity standards.
- Strategic Tripartite Alliances: Build collaborative partnerships across Mars Global DT (standards alignment), SAP leadership (product advocacy), and Systems Integration (SI) partners (delivery accountability).

Qualifications (Must-Haves):

- Experience: 10+ years of progressive enterprise ERP leadership across large-scale transformations; 5+ years of formal people leadership with a track record of hiring talent and masterfully matching people to assignments.
- Industry: 7+ years in CPG or Food & Beverage (lot/batch traceability, shelf-life, co-manufacturing, 3PL logistics, and FDA/food safety compliance).
- SAP S/4HANA Expertise: Extensive hands-on experience architecting, delivering, and leading SAP S/4HANA enterprise solutions, with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud experience considered a strong plus.
- Modern Tooling & AI: Proven experience using SAP Cloud ALM (CALM), Jira, Monday.com, and Smartsheet for agile delivery, combined with leveraging AI agents and SAP Situation Handling for exception automation.
- Governance & Vendor KPIs: Proven success establishing project operating systems and managing AMS support vendors against rigorous SLA/KPI scorecards.
- Security & Compliance: Strong working knowledge of cloud role-based access control (RBAC), Segregation of Duties (SoD), and corporate security standards.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.

Nice-to-Haves:

- Master’s degree or MBA.
- SAP S/4HANA Cloud functional or SAP Activate Project Manager certifications.
- Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), SAP Signavio, or enterprise integration architectures.
