The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the maintenance of all company assets.
 
MAJOR AREAS OF PERFORMANCE:
- Assist with maintaining and understanding vendor service agreements for the facility and adjacent grounds
- Oversee and assist visiting service providers as needed to ensure they are completing their assignments in an appropriate manner
- Provide and maintain service to all company warehouse and production equipment either through outside service agreements or through internal maintenance programs

- Monitoring the security of the building
- Overseeing training and testing of all power equipment certifications
- Overseeing general preventive maintenance of all production and warehouse equipment
- Perform and maintain records of all required tests and inspections of fire protection equipment, security equipment, and alarm systems
- Oversee and keep records of all safety inspections
- Keep records readily available
- Demonstrate the ability to maintain a team approach with all levels of the organization promoting a productive and harmonious work environment
- Work with all areas to help provide them with various tools and equipment they need to perform their duties
- Oversee the appropriate handling and documentation of all hazardous materials used in the facility through our SDS program
- Recognize and react to potential accidents and hazardous causing situations in a timely manner to help ensure that we have a safe clean and orderly working environment
- Work with and follow ISO policies, procedures and processes
- Consistently enforce all company policies and procedures
- Provide a safe working environment through adherence to OSHA regulations as well as company safety policies
- Regular and punctual attendance
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as required
 
QUALIFICATIONS (EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS) REQUIRED:
- Associate’s degree or Vocational Certificate
- 2+ years supervisory experience
- Previous facility and equipment maintenance experience
- Experience with warehouse equipment
- Previous leadership experience preferred including coaching and development of employees
- Ability to determine priorities, make decisions, and manage an organized operation
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels both internally and externally
- Ability to work independently and in teams
- Ability to handle stressful situations with tact and control
- Certified forklift equipment instructor
- PC skills
- Attention to detail
- ISO quality knowledge and training
