About this role
Comscore is looking for a Web Developer, Marketing Operations to add hands-on development capability, technical depth and continuity to the team responsible for comscore.com and its Webflow platform. This role will work closely with the primary website owner and other Marketing Operations team members to develop functionality, troubleshoot technical issues, support integrations and maintain a reliable, accessible and effective digital experience.
The ideal candidate combines strong HTML, CSS and JavaScript development skills with experience working in modern content-management platforms. This person should be comfortable moving between hands-on coding, Webflow administration, integrations, troubleshooting, testing and documentation, and should be capable of providing dependable technical backup for critical website operations.
What You’ll Do :
- Develop, maintain and troubleshoot functionality for comscore.com and the Webflow platform.
- Build and maintain website functionality using HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript.
- Support Webflow administration, including CMS collections, templates, components, forms, redirects, localization and related platform configuration.
- Develop and maintain integrations between Webflow and other Marketing and business systems, including Eloqua and related forms, workflows and content-gating functionality.
- Work with REST APIs, JSON, webhooks and JavaScript-based integrations to connect systems and automate website processes.
- Troubleshoot browser-side code, integrations, forms, scripts and other technical website issues.
- Support website search, filtering, dynamic content and other interactive functionality.
- Support development and automation of Comscore's Rankers/Rankings and other data-driven website experiences.
- Perform technical QA and testing for website releases, enhancements and new functionality.
- Support website accessibility reviews and remediation and work with internal teams to address security and InfoSec findings.
- Implement and maintain analytics, tagging and related tracking functionality as required.
- Support technical SEO foundations, website performance and site-quality improvements.
- Diagnose and support legacy website dependencies as Comscore completes its transition away from legacy infrastructure.
- Follow a platform-first development approach, using native Webflow functionality and approved solutions when they reasonably meet business requirements and using custom code when it provides a clear technical or business benefit.
- Write clean, maintainable code and avoid unnecessary technical complexity.
- Maintain clear documentation of custom code, integrations, configurations, dependencies and troubleshooting procedures.
- Maintain shared access and technical documentation so critical website functionality does not depend on one individual.
- Track website development work, issues and dependencies through Monday.com and established Marketing Operations processes.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Creative, Content, IT, InfoSec and external partners to translate business requirements into maintainable technical solutions.
- Provide technical backup and coverage for critical website operations, integrations and issues.
