About this role
The Assembly Lead coordinates daily assembly operations to support safety, quality, production, and delivery goals. This position provides hands-on leadership to the team, ensures employees have the materials and resources needed to perform their work, and works closely with other departments to maintain an efficient production flow.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous manufacturing experience required; fiberglass manufacturing or assembly experience preferred.
- Previous lead, supervisory, or demonstrated team leadership experience preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret specifications, technical drawings, work instructions, and production documentation.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality standards, and workplace safety procedures.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English; bilingual skills are a plus.
- Ability to troubleshoot production issues and escalate concerns when needed.
- Strong communication, teamwork, organization, and leadership skills.
- Ability to train and coach employees effectively.
- Ability to work overtime and various shift schedules as required.
