This is an onsite internship position at the MFC Ocala facility for the Spring of 2027, January through May, with potential to continue during the summer.
Performs assignments in technical/engineering organizations (e.g., Electronics Engineering, Software Engineering, Facilities Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering) during vacations and short-term breaks from college attendance while enrolled in an accredited degree program.
Basic Qualifications
* Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, Industrial Engineering or related engineering discipline from an accredited college.
* Exposure to a drafting or modeling tool (i.e. Creo, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, Fusion 360, etc.)
* Team participation skills including communication proficiencies with reports, emails, and documentation.
* Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access
Desired Skills
* Knowledge of electronics and/or mechanical assembly, industrial processes, technical writing, and teaming.
* Additive manufacturing / 3D printing experience
* Familiarity with the use of AI to solve multi-step problems, such as: data cleaning, coding, and task automation
* Knowledge of lean manufacturing and/or 6 Sigma concepts & techniques
* Leadership experience
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $20.14 - $28.15

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
