Leveraging extensive experience and AI-enabled delivery, we support customers in navigating complexity as they meet today's needs and transition to more sustainable solutions.

Job Purpose

Coordinate multi-discipline engineering delivery for critical infrastructure projects in line with Worley procedures, contractual requirements and customer objectives. Act as the technical interface between the Project Manager, Engineering Manager and discipline teams, ensuring plans, deliverables, schedules, bills of materials and forecasts are accurate, coordinated and delivered safely
Lead day-to-day engineering coordination across utilities, water, power, transport, ports, marine, industrial infrastructure, resilience upgrades and brownfield modifications. Translate contract requirements into scope, deliverables, work plans, resource plans, schedules and controls for safe, sustainable and predictable delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Discipline Leadership
Define and coordinate the engineering team, set clear delivery objectives, assign work through discipline leads, provide technical guidance, monitor performance and close gaps affecting safety, quality, cost, schedule or productivity.

Business Development Support
Support proposals for small to medium infrastructure opportunities by developing execution strategies, discipline scopes, schedules, resource plans, deliverables, risks, assumptions and technical differentiators aligned with customer drivers. Apply strong commercial acumen by validating scope boundaries, change assumptions, delivery risks and pricing inputs to support competitive, executable and margin-protective bids.

Critical Infrastructure Delivery
Drive technically robust infrastructure solutions across studies, design development, detailed engineering and delivery support. Ensure designs address safety, sustainability, resilience, constructability, maintainability, operational continuity, stakeholder constraints, permitting requirements and whole-life asset performance.

Project Coordination & Administration
Coordinate project plans, contractual arrangements, schedules, milestones, deliverable registers and progress inputs. Review schedules, bills of materials, forecasts and controls for accuracy, completeness and alignment with delivery commitments, while maintaining disciplined scope control, change awareness and clear traceability between contract requirements, approved deliverables and execution performance.

Stakeholders & Interfaces
Coordinate with project managers, engineering managers, other discipline leads, authorities, customers, contractors, vendors, operations and site teams. Resolve inter-discipline issues, manage review cycles, incorporate comments and maintain clear technical interfaces, responsibilities and escalation paths.

Execution Controls
Plan and control engineering execution through work plans, deliverable registers, schedules, progress measurement, quality plans, change control, risk registers, resource forecasts and project reports. Monitor commercial performance indicators, including MOPC, CPI and WPI, to identify trends, protect margin, support timely corrective action and maintain alignment between approved scope, budget, schedule and delivery commitments.
Technical & Team Leadership    Ensure adherence to accepted engineering practices, statutory requirements, customer specifications, local and global standards, checking procedures and peer review requirements. Mentor engineers and designers, promote consistency of deliverables and support data-centric and digital engineering methods where beneficial.

Decision Authority, Tools and Success Measures

Authority

Proficient in Microsoft Office, Teams, Copilot and approved AI-enabled productivity tools, with working knowledge of project controls, model review, reporting, digital delivery, data-centric engineering, automation bots, dashboards and other relevant digital initiatives that improve quality, productivity, decision support and delivery insight.

Success Measures
•    Safe, compliant and sustainable engineering delivery.
•    Accurate plans, schedules, deliverables, forecasts and control inputs aligned with contract requirements.
•    Quality deliverables issued on schedule with effective review, coordination and comment close-out.
•    Constructable, operable and maintainable solutions with controlled change, managed risk and timely issue resolution.
