Talent Acquisition Recruiter

As a Talent Acquisition Recruiter, you will provide crucial recruitment and talent sourcing support to Retail, Corporate and other divisions as needed. Location : Position works from the Havertys Home Office located at 780 Johnson Ferry Rd. NE, Atlanta, GA 30342 four days per week with an optional, one day work from home.
Pay: is $75k based on experience.
Major Function : The Talent Acquisition Recruiter will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across divisions including people services, retail, home office, distribution, and delivery providing key recruitment responsibilities for retail Sales Consultant the Retail division and cross-functional partners in People Services, Home Office, Distribution, and Delivery. This role leads recruitment for retail positions and supports the Talent Acquisition (TA) team with coordination across all recruitment functions.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY:
The Talent Acquisition Recruiter plays a key role in all aspects of recruitment, including:
• Serves as a strategic recruitment partner to the Director of Talent Acquisition and hiring managers, understanding Havertys staffing needs to attract and hire top talent.
• Recruits Retail Sales Consultants, Interior Designers, and Assistant Branch Managers for retail locations across multiple states and will learn to support recruitment for Home Delivery and Home Office.
• Manages full-cycle recruitment, including writing job descriptions and postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, scheduling, and presenting candidates to hiring managers.
• Administers Havertys job descriptions and develops a working knowledge of department functions and pay structures to support TA across all divisions.
• Ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations and Havertys policies throughout the employment process.
• Handles all aspects of recruitment coordination, including but not limited to administering the Havertys Indeed account, posting positions, creating weekly reports, creating Talent Acquisition training reference guides, performing reference checks, reviewing background checks, ordering drug testing supplies, organizing and attending career fairs, administering job descriptions in SuccessFactors, and completing Talent Acquisition invoicing.
• Partners with the Director of Talent Acquisition on talent acquisition projects such as creating recruitment guides for managers, monitoring and developing pre/post-employment practices, creating analytic reports in SuccessFactors, reviewing and writing hiring policies, and other projects as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in human resources, business administration, psychology, or a related field. Equivalent education and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Experience: 5+ years of experience in talent acquisition, human resources, or sales recruitment, preferably in home furnishings or with a top 100 retail brand. Advanced proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter and Indeed is required.
• Full desk recruitment knowledge and experience : Demonstrated full-desk recruitment experience, including sourcing strategies, candidate assessment techniques, offer negotiation, and consultative partnership with hiring managers.
• HRIS: Experience: Experience with SmartRecruiters and SAP SuccessFactors preferred, along with CRM or candidate tracking databases to manage data and candidate relationships. Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws.
• Analytical Skills : Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions using business intelligence and reporting tools.
• Communication and Leadership: Strong communication and leadership skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and help lead Talent Acquisition initiatives.
• Travel : as needed.
• Skills : Polished professional with strong organizational, written and verbal communication, influencing, listening, and problem-solving skills, and close attention to detail. A proven self-starter who works independently and is trustworthy and dependable. Must be able to guide and influence hiring leaders to move quickly in selection and offer stages to optimize the opportunity to hire top candidates.
• Technology : Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, and experience with SAP SuccessFactors or another applicant tracking system (ATS). Comfortable using AI-powered recruiting tools for sourcing, screening, and outreach, and able to quickly learn new applications as needed.
