We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of

Asset and Liability Capital Management – Governance and Control

Role purpose
Generate liquidity reporting aligned to US regulation and build deep expertise across the reports and metrics produced. You’ll strengthen the control environment to ensure reporting accuracy and drive agreed improvements in process and automation within Global Liquidity Performance & Insights (GLPI) - reducing manual adjustments and improving end-to-end efficiency and turnaround times.

What'll you do

- Produce liquidity reports and analyse outcomes and key metrics to understand liquidity impacts

- Build and enhance controls that help ensure reports are produced correctly

- Understand the financial objectives of each report and how they connect to the operational build process

- Execute a defined plan of reporting improvements identified through operational diagnostics including delivering improvement waves to agreed timelines

- Structure delivery across items that can be done in control (internally within GLPI) and those requiring collaboration (budget or intervention from teams outside GLPI)

- Align prioritisation to remediation actions committed in Managed Self-Identified Issues (MSIIs) and in assurance and audit reports

- Represent Mex in Finance Change Delivery (FCD) forums to understand and highlight impacts and dependencies across processes

- Drive collaboration with the US liquidity team and the Governance & Controls liquidity area in GLPI

- Contribute to projects linked to the reports produced including technology change, new product implementations and other change initiatives

What you'll need to succeed

- Bachelor’s degree (desirable) in Finance, Business Administration, Actuary, Engineering or Economic areas

- Liquidity risk knowledge (US liquidity reporting knowledge is nice to have)

- 2+ years’ experience in process improvement and automation with working knowledge of tools such as Qliksense, Python, SQL and Alteryx

- Data management capability

- Strong leadership, communication and teamwork skills with a proactive and goal-oriented approach

- Strong organisational skills with analytical capability and attention to detail including decision-making abilities

- Ability to generate reports and analyse results confidently

- Negotiation and influencing skills

- Fluent English (written and oral)

- Ability to supervise in a constantly changing risk environment

- Management skills to coordinate and administer team activities effectively
