Quality Controller

Job Description: Aston Carter's large Aerospace manufacturing client in NE Calgary is looking for 5 Quality Control Inspectors to join their new team. The Quality Inspector is responsible for reviewing and verifying the quality documentation of incoming aircraft parts to ensure compliance with established standards, as well as accurately maintaining inspection records and supporting documentation. Core Job Responsibilities:

- Quality paperwork verification for incoming aircraft parts for the Downsview inventory transfer project.
- Prepare and maintain detailed inspection, investigation, and certification records and reports.
- Liaison with the warehousing team and the buyer to carry out day-to-day activities.

Job Requirements:

- 1-2 years of quality inspection experience from the aerospace, food, or automotive industry in mentioned order of preference.
- Engineering/Technical degree or diploma (From SAIT, NAIT or other such institution)
- 1+ year basic computer experience (Microsoft Office Suite - Word and Excel for data entry and search)
- Understanding of trace lot batches and documentation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications NICE TO HAVE:

- AME certification/experience.
- Experience reading drawing and inspection reports.

SOFT SKILLS:

- Team worker mindset.
- Good communication skills.
- Attention to detail.

This is a Contract position based out of Calgary, AB.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Calgary,AB.
