💲 $28–$38 per hour , based on licensure and experience

Make a Meaningful Impact in Behavioral Health
Bluff Recovery, part of Pyramid Healthcare, is seeking a compassionate and dependable PRN Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in Augusta, GA.
This PRN position provides flexibility with day and night shift opportunities while allowing you to make a meaningful difference in the lives of adults receiving treatment for substance use disorders and/or mental health conditions .
You’ll provide safe, compassionate, person-centered nursing care while supporting clients throughout their treatment and recovery.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete nursing assessments for new admissions.
- Administer medications and follow established detoxification and withdrawal management protocols.
- Perform COWS and CIWA assessments as clinically appropriate.
- Monitor clients and communicate changes in condition to the appropriate medical team.
- Provide medication education and general health education to clients.
- Support medical providers with assessments, medication management, and treatment needs.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Ensure medical equipment and supplies are properly maintained.
- Follow all federal, state, and facility regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Maintain professional boundaries and protect client confidentiality.
- Respond appropriately to urgent or crisis situations.
- Perform other nursing duties as assigned.
Qualifications
LPN Requirements
- Active, unencumbered LPN license in Georgia .
- Current CPR/BLS, AED, and First Aid certifications.
- Previous experience in behavioral health, substance use treatment, detox, or co-occurring disorders preferred.
RN Requirements
- Active, unencumbered RN license in Georgia .
- Current CPR/BLS and First Aid certifications.
- Previous experience in behavioral health, substance use treatment, detox, or co-occurring disorders preferred.
Skills & Abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Sound clinical judgment and nursing skills.
- Ability to remain calm and effective in crisis situations.
- Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with nursing, clinical, and medical teams.
- Understanding of applicable healthcare and regulatory standards.
- Commitment to professional ethics, client dignity, and high-quality care.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Indoor clinical treatment environment with moderate noise levels.
- May involve exposure to infectious diseases and emotionally or physically challenging situations.
- Ability to lift or move 25 lbs. regularly and up to 50 lbs. occasionally .
- Reliable transportation required.
