AUTOMOTIVE CAR WASH / DETAILER
Pay Rate: $18.00 PER HOUR

POSITION SUMMARY
We are looking for a dependable, hardworking Automotive Car Wash / Detailer to join our team. The Detailer is responsible for washing, cleaning, and preparing vehicles for customers, service appointments, and dealership inventory.
The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, pays close attention to detail, works efficiently, and provides professional-quality results.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Wash and dry vehicles inside and outside
- Vacuum carpets, seats, and floor mats
- Clean dashboards, door panels, windows, and interior surfaces
- Shampoo carpets and upholstery as needed
- Clean wheels and apply tire dressing
- Perform basic exterior detailing, waxing, and polishing
- Remove dirt, stains, grease, and debris
- Inspect vehicles after cleaning to ensure quality standards are met
- Move and park vehicles safely around the dealership
- Maintain a clean and organized wash/detail area
- Properly use and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies
- Follow all dealership safety procedures
- Assist the Service and Sales departments with vehicle preparation as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous automotive detailing or car wash experience preferred
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Professional attitude and appearance
- Willingness to learn and take direction
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This position requires working indoors and outdoors and around water and cleaning products.
The employee must be able to:
- Stand and walk for extended periods
- Bend, kneel, reach, and squat
- Lift and carry equipment and supplies
- Work in varying weather conditions
- Perform repetitive cleaning and detailing tasks
