Job Description:
The Faculty Fellow supports the School of Communication's strategic priorities by advancing research, fostering international engagement, and strengthening faculty development. Working collaboratively with faculty, staff, students, and external partners, the Faculty Fellow helps expand research opportunities, develops resources that support scholarly activity, promotes international collaboration and recruitment initiatives, and serves as a mentor and resource for junior faculty. The Faculty Fellow contributes to the overall mission and success of the School by supporting activities that enhance research excellence, faculty engagement, and global partnerships
Essential Functions (required: Percentage of effort for each Essential Function totaling 100%)

1. Collaborate with AU faculty and staff to advance research projects. This includes fostering international opportunities for collaboration. (25%)
2. Develop research resources for AU faculty, especially in the School of Communication. (25%)
3. Promote international engagement with SOC, including recruiting international graduate students and promoting international research opportunities with AU faculty. (25%)
4. Provide guidance and share expertise with junior SOC faculty. Generally, further the goals and activities of the School of Communication. (25%)
