Summary Description:

The Assistant Warehouse Manager supports the Warehouse Manager in overseeing all aspects of daily warehouse operations. This role is responsible for ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of a wide range of goods. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with strong organizational skills, a focus on safety and process improvement, and a commitment to maintaining a positive work environment.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
•    Manage PPE (hardhats, gloves, safety glasses) and field crew shirts, with input from Safety Manager. 
•    Placard creation for solar electric panels.
•    Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, shipments, and deliveries in warehouse management systems (WMS).
•    Prepare shipping, receiving, and inventory documents.
•    Conduct monthly inventory audits and cycle counts.
•    Support the coordination of inbound and outbound logistics with shipping carriers and delivery drivers.
•    Generate and distribute internal reports (e.g., inventory status, order tracking).
•    Maintain organized filing systems for delivery receipts, packing slips, invoices, and purchase orders.
•    Communicate with vendors, suppliers, and internal departments to resolve issues and provide updates.
•    Ensure compliance with safety and company policies within administrative processes

Key Qualifications & Required Skills/Abilities:
•    Education: High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher preferred
•     Experience: 1-3 years of administrative experience, preferably in a warehouse, logistics or manufacturing setting.
•    Familiar with common office equipment, devices, and processes.

•    Strong written & verbal communication, organizational, decision-making, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
•    Ability and willingness to learn and adapt quickly to rapidly evolving business priorities.
•    Possess a positive, friendly, and welcoming attitude with strong interpersonal skills.
•    Ability to work independently, show initiative, and operate with a sense of urgency.
•    Working knowledge of Google Applications Suite (Drive, Calendar, G-Mail, Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.) or similar software.
•    Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
