About this role
Description
Prime Video Marketing is entering a defining chapter. Over the next three years, our content slate scales meaningfully, and marketing must grow its impact faster than its budget. Getting there depends on making sharper investment choices — concentrating spend behind the biggest opportunities, rebalancing toward high-growth markets, building scalable channels, and reinvesting automation-driven savings into working media. Finance is central to making those choices with rigor and conviction.
We are looking for a Finance Manager to serve as the finance business partner to Prime Video Marketing across the APAC region, working alongside the APAC Marketing Director (based in Mumbai). This is first and foremost a strategic business partnering role: you will shape investment decisions, drive allocation rigor, and own the measurement that connects marketing spend to customer and business outcomes. You will also partner closely with Worldwide Prime Video Marketing Finance and the Worldwide Marketing team to align on approach and ensure regional plans and learnings connect to the global picture.
This is a builder’s role at the intersection of finance, marketing, and technology — helping deliver the multi-year marketing strategy, not just report on it.
Key job responsibilities
- Strategic business partnering: The trusted finance partner to the APAC Marketing Director and marketing leaders, bringing financial framing and a clear "so what" to decisions across the region.
- Investment decisions and allocation: Drive rigor in how marketing invests — translating growth opportunity, revenue per subscriber, and effectiveness into a defensible allocation across markets, channels, and titles, and calibrating targets to performance.
- Measurement and ROI: Own the financial view of marketing effectiveness and return, standardizing metrics (ROAS, cost per incremental outcome, incrementality) to shift spend toward the highest return.
- Marketing efficiency: Help the business do more with each dollar and reduce the cost of getting marketing to market.
- Planning: Support OP1/OP2 and long-range planning, coordinating inputs and co-authoring leadership narratives.
- Enabling AI-driven outcomes: The business builds the AI; Finance ensures the intended outcomes and savings land, and is AI-savvy enough to build the dashboards the business needs.
- Vendor and agency economics: Evaluate fees and vendor selection and quantify build-vs-buy trade-offs.
- Worldwide partnership: Align methodology with WW PV Marketing Finance and Marketing and connect regional plans to the global view.
- Reporting: Consolidate APAC inputs into a single view; lead close and variance analysis.
- Process improvement: Drive automation across consolidation and reporting.
A day in the life
- You partner with marketing leaders across APAC to pressure-test investment decisions, reallocating toward the outcomes and markets where each dollar works hardest.
- You surface insights on efficiency, incrementality, and return, and bring a crisp point of view to management.
- You build and maintain the dashboards and views — increasingly using AI-enabled tooling — that give the business timely visibility into marketing performance and efficiency.
- You work with vendor, agency, and automation stakeholders to sharpen the economics of how marketing is produced and delivered.
- You act as the connective tissue between APAC marketing teams, Worldwide Marketing Finance, and regional finance — ensuring marketing financials are accurate, consistent, and clearly communicated.
