Every batch of kraut we make starts and ends with someone on a forklift. That could be you.
The Fremont Company has been making sauerkraut in Fremont since 1905. We're still family-owned, and we're still Feeding the World Like Family. From truckloads of fresh cabbage coming in to pallets of finished product heading out, our forklift operators keep the whole operation moving.
If you're sharp behind the wheel, take safety seriously, and like staying busy, this is your spot.
What You'll Do
- Load and unload trucks: raw cabbage in, finished product out
- Keep production lines stocked with materials and packaging so nothing stops
- Move, stage, and stack pallets quickly, safely, and accurately
- Pull orders, track inventory, and keep the warehouse organized
- Do pre-shift forklift inspections and report any issues
- Follow safety, GMP, and food safety rules every time
Who You Are
- Forklift experience preferred; certified? Even better. New to it? We'll train and certify you.
- Safety-first: you know where your forks, your load, and your coworkers are at all times
- Dependable: you show up and your team can count on you
- Organized and detail-driven: the right pallet, the right place, every time
- Ready for a hands-on job in hot, cold, or wet conditions, with lifting up to [XX] lbs
