Think sauerkraut is old-school? So are we, and we've gotten really good at it.
The Fremont Company has been making sauerkraut in Fremont since 1905. We're still family-owned, and we're still Feeding the World Like Family. Tons of fresh cabbage come through our doors, and we need sharp, reliable Machine Operators to turn it into kraut people across the country put on their tables.
This isn't a sit-and-watch job. You'll run the equipment that moves product from fresh cabbage to finished kraut. When your line hums, you'll know it was you.
What You'll Do
- Run, set up, and fine-tune production and packaging equipment
- Spot problems before they become problems: adjust, troubleshoot, and keep things rolling
- Own your quality by checking weights, seals, and labels so every can, jar, and bag goes out right
- Team up with Maintenance and Quality to hit targets shift after shift
- Keep it safe, clean, and food-safe, because families eat what we make
Who You Are
- Someone who likes knowing how machines work, and making them work better
- Dependable: you show up and your team can count on you
- Detail-driven: "close enough" isn't your thing
- Experienced in manufacturing? Great. New to it? We'll train you.
- Ready for a hands-on, on-your-feet job that can be hot, cold, loud, or wet, with lifting up to [XX] lbs
