Scope of Position

Responsible for supporting the business operations, administrative and project management functions of the Marketing, Communications & Digital Strategy Department at the OSU Wexner Medical Center. The Sr. Project Manager manages the flow of project requests through the creative process from job initiation to completion and ensures on-time delivery of all projects. This position manages projects through the internal creative process and with external creative consultants as identified by department. This position is the liaison and key information, communication and negotiating link between members of project management, creative services, digital teams and external vendors.

Position Summary

The Sr. Project Manager leads the planning, intake, execution, and closure of complex design, video, copy, and digital projects that support key service lines and corporate priorities. This role manages multiple projects within broader strategic portfolios as a portfolio manager and ensures alignment across cross-functional teams. This position oversees workflow, schedules project timelines, and allocates resources to ensure projects move efficiently from concept to delivery. They also act as the central point of contact for resolving conflicts and keeping all parties informed.

Minimum Qualifications
-- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

-- Minimum of 4 years of experience in project coordination or management for creative, video, or digital projects.

-- Experience in a corporate marketing department or agency environment preferred.

-- Experience collaborating with vendors on the print and mailing production process.

-- Knowledge of project tracking software preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
