Position Summary
Provides specialized subject matter expertise and advisory support related to pharmacy benefit administration, pharmacy benefit manager (PBM) strategy, and related market initiatives. Serves in a temporary, part-time, intermittent capacity to support strategic projects, organizational continuity, knowledge transfer, and select complex pharmacy benefit administration activities requiring deep subject matter expertise.
This position functions primarily as an advisor, providing guidance on complex pharmacy benefit administration matters, emerging market developments, PBM strategy, and transition-related initiatives. Work is project-based, intermittent, and performed on a flexible schedule aligned with organizational needs.
Minimum Qualifications
For Hire
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Pharmacy, Public Health, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Significant experience in pharmacy benefit administration, PBM operations, pharmacy consulting, managed care, or related healthcare administration functions.
• Demonstrated expertise in pharmacy benefit strategy, vendor management, contract administration, and operational oversight.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate complex pharmacy benefit concepts to diverse audiences.
