Job Title: Staff Pharmacist Job Description This position offers pharmacists an opportunity to step away from the constant pace of traditional retail and join a growing pharmacy operation that prioritizes medication safety, clinical accuracy, and patient care. You will work in a collaborative environment alongside providers, pharmacy support staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective medication use while contributing directly to improved patient outcomes. Responsibilities

- Review and verify prescriptions to ensure accuracy, appropriateness, and compliance with applicable regulations and clinical guidelines.
- Provide clear and thorough medication counseling to patients, explaining proper use, potential side effects, interactions, and adherence strategies.
- Collaborate with prescribers to resolve medication-related questions, clarify orders, and optimize therapeutic regimens.
- Support quality and compliance initiatives by following established policies, procedures, and best practices in medication management.
- Maintain high standards of patient safety and accuracy in all aspects of dispensing, verification, and documentation.
- Work closely with pharmacy support teams and fellow healthcare professionals to deliver efficient, patient-focused service.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying process enhancements and participating in operational initiatives.

Essential Skills

- Active pharmacist license in the state of Kentucky, in good standing.
- PharmD or RPh degree from an accredited program.
- At least 1 year of pharmacist experience is preferred; however, new graduates are welcome.
- Strong attention to detail with a demonstrated commitment to medication safety and clinical accuracy.
- Ability to provide clear, empathetic, and effective patient counseling.
- Capability to collaborate with prescribers and healthcare teams to resolve medication-related issues.
- Solid understanding of pharmacy laws, regulations, and professional standards.
- Ability to work on-site and adapt to a mix of first and second shift schedules.

Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Southgate, KY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $130000.00 - $145000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Competitive Pay Based on experience. New graduates are welcome to gain experience out of school!!!
