## Department Overview
SCM and MVtrac are the Skip Tracing, Forwarding, and Impound division of Motorola Solutions, providing full-service recovery solutions that connect lenders and repossession agents to facilitate timely, compliant asset recoveries. Our technology is powered by the people behind it, and we are seeking an experienced Impound Admin Notary to join our team. This role will work closely with Impound Managers and lenders to prepare, process, and notarize required documentation to support the efficient recovery of assets from impound facilities.
## Job Description

NOTE: This candidate will need to live within commuting distance to our Dallas, Texas office. This position is 100% On-Site

This position will work closely with Impound Management and team members to complete assigned administrative tasks necessary to facilitate the timely and compliant release and recovery of vehicles from impound facilities nationwide.

The Impound Admin Notary will provide administrative and document support for SCM and MV Impound operations, including preparing state-specific forms, hold harmless agreements, authorization documents, and other documentation required to facilitate the release of impounded vehicles. The role will notarize documents as required, coordinate document submission and delivery (delivering them to appropriate mailing or shipping locations, including FedEx and USPS), track outstanding documentation, and complete additional administrative duties as assigned by Impound Management.

Desired Skills/Experience

- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately prepare legal and state-specific documentation
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and prioritize time-sensitive documentation
- Strong organizational, written communication, and recordkeeping skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, G-Suite, and related business applications
- Ability to follow established processes while identifying missing or incomplete documentation
- Strong written, verbal communication, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments and meet time-sensitive deadlines
- Basic proficiency with computers, email, and/or similar business applications (Microsoft Office, G-Suite, email)
- Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to accurately complete and review documentation
- Ability to follow established procedures and maintain confidential or sensitive information
- Coordinate the delivery of required documentation, including electronic submission when permitted.
- Preparing documents for shipment/delivery to appropriate mailing or shipping locations, including FedEx and USPS, to ensure documentation reaches the appropriate recipient within required timeframes
- Current Notary Public commission or ability and willingness to obtain a Notary Public commission as part of the onboarding process; SCM/MV will assist with the commissioning process and cover required company-approved costs

Target Base Salary Range - $47,840 to $52,000 USD

Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.

Basic Requirements

- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely; employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position
- 2 years experience in repossession, asset recovery, impounds, automotive finance, or document processing
- High School Diploma or equivalent
