Your role at Baxter
As the Senior Supply Planner, you will be accountable for end-to-end planning activities across Finished Goods, Sub-Assemblies, and Raw Materials. You will lead planning decisions spanning Master Production Scheduling (MPS), Material Requirements Planning (MRP), and Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP), balancing customer needs, inventory targets, capacity constraints, and business priorities.
Success in this role will be measured by your ability to optimize service levels, improve inventory performance, proactively mitigate supply risks, and lead cross-functional decision-making in complex and dynamic environments.
What you'll be doing
- Lead and optimize the Master Production Plan (MPS) for designated products and complex portfolios.
- Balance production, inventory, capacity, and customer requirements to achieve service, operational, and financial objectives.
- Monitor performance against production plans, identify root causes of gaps, and drive corrective actions to resolution.
- Own delivery commitments for make-to-order products, considering capacity, material availability, lead times, and business priorities.
- Drive supply planning processes for third-party manufactured products and collaborate with suppliers to mitigate risks.
- Lead scenario planning and risk assessments related to capacity, inventory, material availability, and production lead times.
- Develop and maintain material supply plans (MRP) to support manufacturing requirements.
- Manage raw material and component inventories while ensuring uninterrupted production.
- Identify supply risks and lead mitigation strategies across internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP) activities, optimizing inventory deployment across the network.
- Recommend inventory, allocation, and replenishment strategies that support customer service and working capital targets.
- Lead cross-functional issue resolution and continuously improve planning processes, standards, and best practices.
What you'll bring
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain Planning, Operations Planning, Integrated Business Planning, Logistics, or related functions.
- Professional proficiency in English and Spanish.

Preferred Qualifications:
- APICS certification (CPIM, CSCP) or equivalent supply chain certification.
- Experience with RapidResponse, Maestro, or other advanced planning platforms.
