Overview

We are hiring an experienced and commercially driven Senior Marketing Executive to join our B2B Education team. This is a high-impact role with primary responsibility for driving acquisition growth, alongside managing a programme of high-profile events and exhibitions.

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, Education, you will lead the development and delivery of integrated marketing campaigns that attract and convert new education customers. Working cross-functionally with Sales and central Marketing teams, you will bring apetito’s Education proposition to life through insight-led campaigns, compelling content and impactful events amd exhibitions.

You’ll be joining a passionate and ambitious Education team that is determined to deliver outstanding marketing and measurable commercial growth.

This is a hybrid role, requiring you to work three days a week in our Trowbridge office as well as UK travel for events.

A full UK driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities

Key Account Acquisition | Strategic & Delivery Ownership

The Senior Marketing Executive is accountable for acquisition performance within the Education division, leading strategy through to execution and optimisation.

- Strategy & Planning: Develop and own the Education acquisition strategy, aligned to the growth opportunity and annual marketing objectives. Translate business goals into termly campaign-level acquisition plans. Prioritise activity across digital, PR, events, direct mail, partnerships, email and telesales to maximise pipeline impact. Define success metrics and monitor performance.

- Integrated Campaign Leadership: Lead the development and delivery of multi-touchpoint acquisition campaigns. Ensure campaigns are insight-led, targeted to key education decision-makers and clearly differentiated. Brief and manage creative, digital, PR and internal stakeholders to deliver campaigns on time and to budget.

- Lead Generation & Funnel Management: Own the end-to-end lead generation and nurture journey, ensuring:

Consistent flow of high-quality leads into the sales pipeline

- Strong alignment with telesales and sales teams

- Work closely with sales to drive first appointments and improve lead-to-win conversion

- Continually optimise campaigns using HubSpot data and campaign insight.

Events & Exhibitions | Strategic & Delivery Ownership

- Strategy & Planning: Develop and own the Education events strategy, aligned to the acquisition targets and annual marketing objectives. Translate strategy into a 12 month sales and marketing programme of events, including regional events and national exhibitions.

- Maximise Event Touchpoints: Lead acquisition focused event touchcpoints, maximising pre-, during- and post-event lead generation and follow-up. Ensure events are fully integrated into wider acquisition campaigns and sales activity, maximising brand awareness opportunities including speaking slots & gated content promotion.

- Event Performance Analysis and Insight: Analyse event performance against agreed objectives, including lead generation, lead quality, pipeline progression, conversion and new customer acquisition. Use performance data and insight to evaluate event ROI, identify opportunities to improve future activity and make recommendations on the ongoing event programme, including where to increase, reduce or reallocate investment.

About you

Essential Skills

- Experience in a Marketing role with responsibility for campaign strategy as well as execution.

- Experience developing and delivering acquisition strategies that drive measurable pipeline growth.

- Experience leading multi-channel, integrated campaigns across digital, events, PR, email and direct marketing.

- Confident analysing campaign data to optimise performance and improve ROI.

- Strong briefing and project management capability, ensuring delivery on time and to quality standards.

- Highly organised, able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

- Well versed in Microsoft Office: advanced PowerPoint and Word, intermediate Excel.

- Marketing Degree, CIM qualification or similar.

- Willingness to travel to various customers around the UK and participate in events and exhibitions.

- Full UK driving licence.

Desirable Skills

- B2B marketing experience within the Education Market, Foodservice or Contract Catering.

- Expereince in organsing and managing events

- Excellent communicator with strong presentation skills.

- Familiar with CRM systems (HubSpot) and marketing automation.

- Understanding of the Education catering environment.

- Copywriting capability.
