About this role

Natixis Investment Managers is seeking a Director, Strategic Marketing, Product to help shape how we bring investment solutions, asset class expertise, and timely market themes to financial advisors. This is a player/coach role that leads a team of strategic product marketers covering equity and fixed income products, while also serving as the strategic marketing lead for Natixis Solutions offerings, including direct indexing, custom solutions, and portfolio consulting services.

This leader will combine product marketing strategy, advisor audience insight, digital activation, content planning, sales enablement, and hands-on execution to create connected marketing and sales experiences. The role is ideal for a practical, strategic marketer who enjoys leading people, bringing structure to complex work, and turning investment ideas into clear, compelling stories that help drive business outcomes. Working closely with distribution, the Investment Strategy Group, affiliate investment managers, and marketing partners, this leader will help identify opportunities, prioritize initiatives, and drive execution across product marketing programs. Success in this role requires strong collaboration, sound judgment, and the ability to influence across teams while maintaining momentum from strategy through execution.

What you will do:

- Lead, coach, and develop strategic equity and fixed income product marketers in planning, storytelling, prioritization, stakeholder management, and deliverable execution.
- Serve as the strategic marketing lead for Natixis Solutions offerings, including direct indexing, custom solutions, and portfolio consulting services.
- Build, implement, and continuously improve a templated selling system that connects product messaging, advisor-facing content, digital engagement, sales enablement, and follow-up opportunities.
- Identify go-to-market opportunities based on market themes, advisor needs, product priorities, and distribution feedback, then lead execution with strategic product marketers, distribution, Investment Strategy Group, and marketing partners.
- Contribute to the content editorial board by bringing forward timely ideas, shaping thematic opportunities, and connecting content plans to advisor and sales needs.
- Synthesize ideas across the team, evaluate tradeoffs, and recommend priorities that balance business impact, advisor relevance, distribution needs, and marketing capacity.
- Develop differentiated storytelling that connects market opportunity, advisor need, investment solution, portfolio application, and the Natixis value proposition.
- Drive integrated advisor-facing programs by establishing clear plans, roles, timelines, approvals, and next steps that keep cross-functional work moving from strategy through execution.
- Alongside your team, act as a strategic product marketing resource for Client Marketing partners, collaborating on client- and channel-specific campaigns, advisor communications, and tailored activation opportunities where product expertise and market context are needed.
- Clarify objectives, resolve ambiguity, escalate issues as needed, and help partners make informed tradeoff decisions that keep initiatives moving.

What you will bring:

- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in product marketing, strategic marketing, campaign strategy, financial services marketing, or a related discipline.
- Experience leading, coaching, or mentoring marketers, with a track record of improving planning, deliverables, decision-making, and business alignment.
- Strong understanding of investment products, asset classes, advisor audiences, market themes, portfolio applications, and solutions-oriented offerings.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex investment concepts into clear, accurate, differentiated, advisor-relevant marketing.
- Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, influence without direct authority, manage senior stakeholders, and coordinate complex workstreams in a highly regulated environment.
- Experience developing go-to-market plans, content ecosystems, digital journeys, sales enablement programs, advisor-facing campaigns, and marketing automation programs.
- Strong judgment and prioritization skills, including the ability to assess tradeoffs, recommend a path forward, and keep work moving without perfect information.
- Confident leadership presence, with the ability to facilitate productive discussions, bring forward new ideas, ask strong questions, challenge constructively, resolve friction, and keep stakeholders focused on shared goals.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to balance team leadership, individual coverage, strategic planning, execution, reporting, and ongoing optimization.
- Series 6 license required (or must be obtained within nine months of hire). A Series 7 license and/or professional investment designations such as CFA, CAIA, or similar credentials are strongly preferred.
