About this role
About the Role
Olive & June is looking for an exceptionally organized and proactive
Manager, Marketing & Creative Operations to help drive the execution
of our marketing and creative initiatives. You thrive on making things
happen. You can see both the big picture and the smallest details,
manage multiple workstreams without losing momentum, and know when to
push, problem-solve, or escalate. You love a great Google Sheet,
believe deadlines matter, and get genuine satisfaction from turning
complexity into clarity. You have a strong sense of ownership and take
initiative.
Sitting at the intersection of Marketing, Brand, and Creative, you’ll
turn priorities and big ideas into clear, actionable plans and making
sure those plans get across the finish line.
What You’ll Do
* Own marketing and creative project timelines across campaigns,
product launches, evergreen initiatives, and creative production from
kickoff through final delivery.
* Manage creative workflows in Asana, including briefs, assignments,
resources, feedback, revisions, approvals, and final handoffs.
* Drive creative reviews and approvals across Brand, Creative,
Marketing, and senior leadership, ensuring materials are organized,
feedback is captured, and work moves forward efficiently.
* Manage priorities and resources across internal teams, freelancers,
content creators, and external partners, balancing business needs,
deadlines, budgets, and team capacity.
* Maintain a high bar for execution, reviewing deliverables for
quality and accuracy and proactively identifying risks, dependencies,
and bottlenecks.
* Own creative asset organization across Dropbox and Google Drive and
ensure teams have the right assets when they need them.
* Improve how we work by building and maintaining effective processes,
trackers, templates, documentation, and cross-functional ways of
working.
* Support photo and content production, including product sample
tracking and attending LA-based shoots a few times per month to help
ensure everything runs smoothly.
Who You Are
*3–5 years of experience in marketing operations, creative operations,
project management, or a related role, ideally within beauty,
consumer, retail, or another fast-paced brand.
* An exceptional project manager who can confidently manage multiple
priorities, stakeholders, and deadlines at once.
* Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong ownership, sound
judgment, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
* A clear, confident communicator who can collaborate effectively
across creative teams, cross-functional partners, and senior
leadership.
* Comfortable bringing structure to ambiguity, adapting to changing
priorities, and maintaining a high bar for creative quality and
execution.
* Highly proficient in Google Workspace and experienced with Asana,
Monday.com, Workfront, or a similar project management platform.
* Experience managing freelancers or external creative partners
preferred; bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
What Success Looks Like
*You become a trusted operational partner across Marketing and
Creative, the person people rely on to know what's happening, what
needs to happen next, and what could get in the way.
*Projects have clear owners and timelines. Creative requests are
appropriately prioritized. Reviews are productive and prepared.
Feedback doesn't get lost. Assets are organized and easy to find.
Teams know what they owe and when they owe it. Risks are surfaced
early rather than becoming last-minute emergencies.
*Beyond keeping the trains running, you make the way we work better.
You identify inefficiencies, build smarter processes, and create the
structure that allows our Marketing and Creative teams to spend more
time doing their best work.
Location
This role is remote within the Los Angeles area. Candidates must be
based in LA and available to attend in-person photo and content
shoots, typically 1-2x per month.
