About the Opportunity | Mō tēnei tūranga We have an exciting opportunity for a Global Product Strategy Manager for Specialty Ingredients to join our Growth and Strategy team based in Auckland on a permanent basis. In this role you'll have the opportunity to help shape and deliver Fonterra’s Specialty Ingredients portfolio - including ingredients such as probiotics, hydrolysates, lactoferrin, and lipids - identifying how we can maximize the long-term value we create for our farmers. You'll also frame up complex challenges and opportunities, bring together diverse teams from across the business, and lead them to a decision leaders can act on. This is a high-impact opportunity with strong cross-functional connections, senior stakeholder exposure, and the chance to help shape Fonterra’s future at an exciting time for the Co-op. About You | Mōu You’ll bring a strong blend of strategic thinking, commercial acumen, and the ability to turn customer and market insights into clear strategies that support long-term growth. You’ll be a natural collaborator who can influence, connect people, and drive alignment across stakeholder groups. You’ll also bring:
- Structured problem-solving, rigorous analysis and sound commercial judgement
- Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to make complex things simple
- A track record of leading cross-functional programmes to outcomes
- Credibility and influence at executive and Board level
- Drive, a low ego, a growth mindset and a genuine interest in the Co-op
- 5+ years’ experience working in a dairy-related field, in a technical, innovation, or strategy-focused role
- A tertiary qualification in dairy science, food technology, business, or a related field
