About this role

About the role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Account Manager to work alongside a Lead Partner on a global priority FTSE 100 account, helping to shape and execute the growth strategy. Our client is a blue-chip energy and resources business with a large global footprint, which requires the successful candidate to have experience managing complex, multi-market B2B relationships, ideally within energy, utilities, or industrials. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the account team and to work across the global PwC network to deepen relationships and drive both commercial and client experience strategy. You will have the opportunity to build client relationships, co-create solutions to solve important problems, and drive a distinctive client experience.
This role forms part of our UK Account Management team, focusing on the firm's priority clients. In this pivotal role, you will manage and nurture complex, sometimes multinational client accounts and relationships, driving client experience and commercial growth. You will lead the implementation of account management best practices, coordinate critical negotiations such as Master Service Agreements and rate cards, and coach diverse senior teams to progress opportunities and achieve sales performance. With a strong emphasis on pipeline management, you will advise on best-practice initiatives to accelerate and progress the client sales pipeline, supporting the wider sales performance of our priority client programme.
You will leverage your internal network, as well as PwC’s global network, to deliver exceptional client experiences and seamless service delivery to the client. This is a unique opportunity to work with our most important clients and make a significant impact in a competitive market.
You will be confident in working directly with clients and building relationships that are relevant to the execution of your role. You will manage the stakeholder mapping exercise, ensuring the alignment of PwC expertise and relationships with key client stakeholders.

What your days will look like:

- Enhance the client experience by coordinating internal teams to meet client needs efficiently and accurately, ensuring integrated and responsive service delivery that supports overall sales and marketing objectives.
- Deliver account management best-practice disciplines by navigating relevant teams to respond to key reporting and regulatory requirements, embedding a robust account cadence that enables activity and mobilisation, and acting as the UK liaison for global client activities to ensure alignment with international strategies.
- Lead initiatives to maximise sales execution, accelerate the sales pipeline, and develop account strategies that expand PwC’s client footprint, while curating insight sources, including client feedback, to refine strategies, strengthen client relationships, and enhance the client experience.
- Collaborate across the firm to build high-performing teams, promote knowledge sharing, and share success, while identifying opportunities for collaboration that enable the firm to create a distinctive and integrated service offering for clients.

This role is for you if:

- You have a proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and communicate business messages effectively across complex organisations.
- You have experience shaping and executing account strategies for large, complex, multinational accounts and can apply both strategic and tactical account management practices.
- You have demonstrated success in B2B business development and client relationship management, preferably within a professional services environment or a similar setting.
- You have experience leading and coaching diverse teams, with strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to build effective relationships.
- You are a collaborative and proactive team player who thrives in geographically dispersed teams and contributes to demand management initiatives.
- You can navigate highly complex global accounts, demonstrating strategic leadership and creative thinking to drive growth and deliver value for clients.
