Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Aluminum Welders for projects located in or around Mount Vernon, WA. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $40/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:

- Weld and fabricate aluminum components used in boat manufacturing

- Perform MIG (GMAW) and TIG welding on aluminum materials

- Build, fit, and assemble aluminum structures and components according to specifications

- Perform fillet welds in all positions with minimal rework

- Complete external seam welds in all positions

- Perform weld repairs and corrective welding procedures

- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and fabrication documents

- Perform oscillated and stringer fillet welds and butt welds as directed

- Minimize material shrinkage and distortion during the weld-out process

- Assist with quality control and ensure finished products meet company standards

- Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment

Requirements:

- Minimum of 3 years of aluminum welding and fabrication experience

- Proficiency with TIG welding aluminum

- Ability to perform high-quality fillet welds in all positions

- Ability to lead and mentor apprentices when needed

- Ability to read, interpret, and communicate blueprints and drawings

- Strong understanding of weld repair techniques

- Experience with aluminum boat manufacturing or marine fabrication preferred

- Strong mathematical and measuring skills

- Excellent attention to detail and hand-eye coordination

- Good communication and teamwork skills

- Strong work ethic and willingness to continue learning and developing trade skills

- Must be reliable, safety-conscious, and committed to quality workmanship
