The Opportunity

Dolby is seeking a Senior Sales Manager, Cinema Products to drive the growth of Dolby Cinema technologies across North America.

In this highly visible role, you will develop and manage strategic relationships with exhibitors, dealers, and industry partners, helping shape the future of premium cinema experiences. You will serve as a trusted advisor to customers, champion Dolby's cinema portfolio, and act as the voice of the customer within Dolby's Cinema and Group Entertainment business.

Reporting to the Director, Sales & Partner Management, Americas , you will collaborate across sales, technical, operations, and marketing teams to identify opportunities, support customer adoption, and drive revenue growth. Success in this role requires strong industry knowledge, relationship-building expertise, commercial acumen, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.

You will engage with customers throughout the sales lifecycle, from early prospecting and solution discussions through deployment and ongoing account management. By gathering market intelligence, customer feedback, and competitive insights, you will help influence business strategy while ensuring Dolby remains the preferred technology partner for exhibitors across North America.

Responsibilities

- Build, develop, and strengthen relationships with cinema exhibitors, dealers, and partners throughout North America.

- Drive awareness, adoption, and sales of Dolby Cinema products and technologies.

- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers, purchasing teams, and executive leaders within exhibition organizations.

- Identify, develop, and secure strategic sales opportunities through engagement with exhibitors and dealer networks.

- Manage key customer and partner relationships to support business growth and site performance objectives.

- Serve as a trusted advisor, providing customers with product, market, and business insights that support investment decisions.

- Conduct regular business reviews with customers to discuss opportunities, challenges, performance, and future plans.

- Partner with internal teams to communicate customer requirements, market changes, emerging opportunities, and competitive trends.

- Collaborate with Sales Operations and Inside Sales teams to support forecasting, order processing, and product delivery activities.

- Support technical and deployment teams during customer evaluations and site implementation efforts.

- Analyze market conditions, competitive activity, and industry trends to inform sales strategies and business planning.

- Contribute ideas and recommendations that improve processes, customer experience, and operational effectiveness.

- Represent Dolby at industry conferences, customer events, trade shows, and other key industry engagements.

- Develop and execute accurate regional sales forecasts and business plans.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced business degree preferred.

- 10+ years of professional experience, including significant experience in customer relationship management, account management, business development, or sales within the cinema exhibition industry.

- Strong understanding of the cinema exhibition ecosystem, including exhibitor business models, market dynamics, and industry trends.

- Experience working with or selling solutions that support exhibition performance, revenue growth, or operational objectives.

- Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.

- Demonstrated ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams and build alignment among diverse stakeholders.

- Strong business acumen, organizational skills, and attention to detail.

- Self-motivated and comfortable operating independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.

- Proven ability to prioritize multiple initiatives and manage competing demands in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

- Experience representing customer perspectives and translating customer needs into business opportunities.

- Willingness and ability to travel approximately 40-50% of the time.

The San Francisco/Bay Area base salary range for this full-time position is $170,600 - $234,200 and the Burbank base salary range is $153,500 - $210,800, which can vary if outside this location, plus bonus, benefits, and some roles may also include equity. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, competencies, experience, market demands, internal parity, and relevant education or training.
