Position Summary
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the upkeep, repair, and preventative maintenance of hotel guest rooms, public areas, meeting spaces, and building systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in general maintenance and the ability to troubleshoot a variety of issues efficiently and professionally.
Essential Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance throughout the hotel
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and team members
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems
- Complete room maintenance including painting, drywall repair, fixture replacement, and minor carpentry
- Maintain pools, elevators, and other hotel equipment as required
- Conduct routine property inspections and identify maintenance needs
- Assist with renovations, projects, and deep cleaning efforts
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards and company policies
- Maintain organized maintenance records and work orders

Requirements
Qualifications
- Previous maintenance experience preferred, ideally in hospitality, apartment, or commercial building maintenance
- Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repair techniques
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, bend, and walk for extended periods
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays when needed
- Valid driver's license preferred
