Colorado Pay Transparency Disclosure:

In accordance with Colorado State law, Tryg discloses wage information for roles that may be performed within the state of Colorado. The anticipated base pay for the National Superintendent position, located in Colorado, is $150,000-$175,000 annually, based on experience, skills, and qualifications.

Job Overview

As a Project Manager at Tryg Critical Solutions, youll serve as the overall leader of assigned projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. Youll take full ownership of project execution—from planning through close-out while maintaining strong client relationships and driving team performance.

This role demands proactive leadership, clear communication, and a commitment to excellence. Youll be responsible for aligning internal teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders around project goals, while ensuring customer satisfaction remains at the forefront throughout every phase.

Essential Duties

- Lead all phases of assigned projects, ensuring safety, schedule, budget, and client satisfaction.

- Coordinate job setup with accounting; oversee project turnover and budget development.

- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules; identify critical path and adjust proactively.

- Estimate and manage change orders; negotiate approvals and ensure timely billing.

- Facilitate key meetings (turnover, OAC, design-build/assist); maintain strong communication with stakeholders.

- Secure permits and understand jurisdictional requirements, support superintendent with site logistics.

- Manage submittals, purchase orders, and material procurement with urgency and accuracy.

- Oversee job costing, labor codes, and subcontractor invoicing; maintain financial integrity.

- Conduct job walks and safety audits; enforce standards and address site issues directly.

- Maintain organized record drawings and ensure installation quality supports continued payment.

- Mentor team members; train future project leaders and support field development.

- Prepare monthly cost-to-complete reports, present findings to leadership with clarity.

- Build lasting client relationships through responsiveness, fairness, and follow-through.

- Lead project close-out, delivering all required documentation and coordinating with service teams.

- Ensure vendor closeout and fulfillment of contractual obligations, respectful verbal and written communication with residents, teams, and stakeholders

- Discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information

Client Retention Duties

- Communicates significant client concerns to upper management promptly.

- Collaborates with clients to resolve project-related issues efficiently.

- Conducts weekly reviews of project scope and progress with the client.

- Refers potential business opportunities to National Business Development (NBD) personnel.

- Coordinates with facility staff to ensure complete customer satisfaction.

- Maintains open, proactive communication with clients throughout the project lifecycle.

- Participates in After Action closeout meetings to review performance and gather feedback.

- Builds trust through reliability, transparency, and consistent follow-through.

Qualifications

Experience, Skills & Requirements

- Minimum 4 years of relevant construction or critical facility experience

- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project

- Skilled in Viewpoint Team and Spectrum platforms

- Proven track record of managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and client relationships

- Experience with commercial or infrastructure projects

- Demonstrated experience in estimating and change management

- Strong relationship-building skills with clients, vendors, consultants, and team members

- Willing and able to travel nationwide for up to 5 weeks at a time & must reside within 75 miles of a major international airport.

- Valid drivers license and ability to rent a vehicle as needed

Preferred Certifications

Candidates with the following certifications are given priority:

- Project Management Professional (PMP)

- LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP)

Working Conditions & Physical Demands

- Primarily based on active construction sites with occasional work in a general office setting using standard equipment (computers, calculators, phones)

- Exposure to outdoor environments in all weather conditions; early mornings and extended hours may be required based on project needs

- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions while managing multiple tasks

- Capable of reading written communications and monochrome computer screens for extended periods

- Ability to bend at the knee, walk and/or stand for extended periods of time.

- Must be able to sit in any class airline seat for flights up to 8 hours

- Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs., climb ladders and stairs, and navigate active job sites safely
